Anie, I'm so sorry to hear about your BFN. I know exactly how you feel. Try to keep your chin up. I know it hurts like heck, but...

As for when I will start again, as soon as possible! I will have to do another fresh cycle because I didn't have any to freeze. I am supposed to call the Dr as soon as AF arrives so that I can go in for a consultation to talk about what we will do next. I am curious what a "flash cycle" is? Does anyone know? I've heard it can be good for poor responders.

Nicaliw...YAY! Congratulations on your BFP! I am so happy for you. And so glad you broke the streak of BFNs. Hopefully Anie, Ann D and I are the last of those around here.

Best of luck to all of you who are BFP. BFNs, maybe I will see you on a future thread when/if we all try again. Good luck to those who are testing today!

BFN for me :(

Cried my heart out... Worst part is that I had some bleeding in the early part of 2ww, so I had a little bit of hope this time. May be it wasn't my time.

My thoughts are with all BFNers; hang in there... our time will come. Will see you in a future thread if you decide to continue this difficult journey.

Congrats to all BFPers, your success gives us hope for another try.

ammu, I'm so sorry. I know exactly how you feel. I'll definitely see you on another thread. I hope to get started as soon as I can. I stopped my progesterone injections 3 days ago and I'm still waiting for AF. What about you? Will you get right back to it, or take some time off?

Take care and cry for as long as you want.

Hugs...

Congratulations nicaliw on your BFP! That's so wonderful!

Ammu... I'm sorry to hear about your BFN. I know how you feel. I cried so much the day I got my BFN, and my eyes were puffy all day the first day. There are many times I'm still so sad about it. I didn't know it would hurt so much. I'm feeling better today. Anyway, I agree with cornybaby. Cry for as long as you want. I tried to put up a tough front when I was with my family, but I just think it made my healing a little tougher to go through. I did a little crying yesterday and felt better afterwards.

Anie... I'm doing a FET next time. I don't know what it all entails and how much time I will have to take off of work. My DH and I still have to schedule a consult with my RE to talk about our next move.

Cornybaby... I never did go out for drink. I was so sad, that I didn't even want to go out, but my husband managed to drag me out to the movies instead. I just got a visit from AF today. Maybe yours will come today or tomorrow. Never heard of a "flash cycle", wonder what that is. Anyone know?

Maybe I will see you girls on another thread on our next try!!

danyel, good luck on Monday! My fingers are crossed for you. A faint positive sounds like good news to me.

Ann D- a movie sounds like it would have been a good idea. I didn't want to go out either, but DH really wanted to get me out of the house. So...we did go down to the pier. I regretted it all day Thursday. Had a terrible headache. I spent the holiday with my in-laws, and luckily, no one made mention of the BFN. So you're going to give it another try? Do you know when? I am STILL waiting for AF. I hope it gets here soon so I can call my RE and discuss the next steps. I'm still trying to find out what this "flash" cycle is all about...

nicaliw - I am so happy that your second beta confirmed your BFP. That is great news! Congratulations!

Cornybaby, could you mean a "flare cycle"? I have done three different types of protocols (and was told that they were all of them) because I am considered a poor responder. The flare cycle doesn't down regulate your cycle as much as the long protocol (which is the one you were on). It is suppose to help us poor responders to create more eggs.
Unfortunately I ovulated through the flare cycle so they tried the antagonist protocl for me which is the one that seems to work best - I typically get 10-12 eggs using those cycles which is pretty good.

Good luck and I hope that AF arrives soon.

MagicMagin or anybody who knows... Sorry if this is too personal of a question, but I was wondering if your AF was "normal". Three days after my BFN, I had a very dark discharge, but that was pretty much it. Not much since. Again, sorry if this is TMI, but I wasn't sure if anyone experienced this kind of AF afterwards. It just wasn't my typical AF.

Cornybaby... Yes, I'm still going to give it another try. I still have to make an appointment with me RE to see when I can do a FET since I know nothing about it. I think the earliest I can even do this is January or February. It's hard to decide since I teach and would have to take time off again. Just not sure how much time on a FET. I've been searching the web for all sorts of info on FETs. It seems like every time I do my "research", I end up more confused and with more questions. I guess that's a good thing, since I will be able to ask my RE about these questions.

kellym - yes, I did mean flare cycle. sorry about that. Anyway, so it sounds like if you are a poor responder, they don't suppress you and you get started right away? That's what I am hoping for. I was definitely a poor responder the first time. I guess we'll see as soon as I have my consultation...which I'll have as soon as AF gets here...I'm still waiting for that. :)

magic- good to hear from you. So you'll start up in Feb? It sounds like the perfect way to start a new year! I'm hoping to get started a little sooner...but I guess only mother nature has control of that. I hope you'll keep in touch.
