Well done Danyel - BFP BFP

Ann D My AF was pretty normal but went on a bit longer than normal... Colour and consistency normal... Yuk TMI!

Has anyone else had a sore um well you know VG? I used pessaries and when AF came I found it too sore to use a tampon... finding having 'la la' a bit painful, it's sore like it has been irritated - is this normal??

Defo coming back as a man!

Congrats Danyel! Way to go! I am so happy for you!

Magic, Ann D and Anie - This is going to sound really sad but I am jealous that AF came so quickly for you all. I am supposed to call RE as soon as mine comes so we can talk about my next cycle...figures the one time I want it to come it would take forever. I took my last projesterone shot last Tuesday, so I'm going on a full week now.

Danyel, congratulations!!!! YAY!!!!!!!! Very exciting!

Cornybaby, I wish I had some words of wisdom for you, but I don't. It sounds very frustrating and I'm sorry you are going through this.

Anie, I think 12dp3dt is right because thats the same as 15 post conception, or one pay past your period was due.

Danyel - Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is wonderful news! I guess that light line that you were staring at should really have been screaming BFP BFP BFP BFP

My first Beta at 11dp3dt was 45 and 2nd two days later was 119. It seems that everyones else has been having higher first Beta numbers which makes me a bit nervous. My us is in a week. I guess I will just have to hang tight until then and think "happy thoughts". After you get through one milestone in IVF it seems there is always something new to get fixated on....

Ok. AF FINALLY arrived. I go in on 12/4 for a consultation to discuss the next steps. It sounds like it'll be at least January before I get started on my next try. January sounds SO far away...but hopefully the time will pass quickly. At least it's a busy month with the holidays and all... :)

hello ladies. posting here is new to me, but i have been reading your posts all morning - they are so interesting & inspiring! i hope i can join in seeing we seem to have similar timings. i had my 1st attempt early nov.

i had 1 embryo transferred on 15 nov (my clinic's policy is to transfer only 1). i am now awaiting the preg test on 3 dec and am so anxious - every symptom/sensation i get, i wonder what it means. i thought everything was going ok and thought it was a good sign when i got little twinges over my ovaries, but this morning i started bleeding. i presume this is not a good sign but am not certain as i haven't been through this before (i didn't get any period pain which i would normally). can anyone advise whether this means our 1st attempt has been unsuccessful? i am still getting little twinges over my ovaries.

am really happy for all of you who have had positive results lately. it sure gives me hope & inspiration to stay positive. and to those who might have had negative results, keep the faith :)

thanks in advance!

Danyel... Congratulations!!! :D :D :D How wonderful your holiday will be!!

MagicMagin... Thank you for your info on AF. Actually, yesterday mine came, but it seems much more than normal now. I don't get it. First, I felt like there wasn't much and now AF did a 180 on me. I think the worse is over.

Cornybaby... maybe we will have our next IVF cycle together. I won't be able to meet with my RE until later in December. I am not sure how long or what protocol I will be following. I will be honest. I am nervous about trying again. It was so hard the first time around (emotionally) that I don't know that I can bare going through this again. I'm hoping I will feel better after the meeting with the RE.

Faithbub...welcome to the forum!! I know the craziness you are going through with every little twinge that you feel. If at all possible, try not to dwell on the twinges. (I don't know if that's actually possible. I know I couldn't stop thinking about it.) As for the bleeding, I didn't have any bleeding, but my nurse said that if I spotted, then that could be a sign of implantation. If you are worried about the amount of bleeding, I would recommend calling your RE and asking the nurse about it. Perhaps they will be able to put your mind at ease or address the problem, if there is one.

Ann D - I am not sure what protocol I will be on either, but hopefully I will know more on 12/4. Are you doing a fresh cycle, or FET next time? Hopefully for you FET...although I don't know much about that process. My doctor says I have to wait a full cycle (which I think is the case for everyone). I have always been pretty regular...28 or 29 days, so I am hoping AF will arrive on time. If she does...it'll be right around the 24th (my wedding anniversary)! I'm hoping for a shorter protocol next time, but I just have no idea and I have so many questions. I just really want to get started. I think the next cycle will be easier on me emotionally, now that I know what I can expect with the shots and the u/s's and all the other hurdles we have to tackle. Seriously, all the waiting from one day to the next is what really kills me. I know one thing for sure on the next try, I am going to try as hard as I can not to obsess over symptoms (easier said than done). It's just so hard to predict what anything means. I say this all now...but just wait. I'm sure I'll be a basketcase on the next go-round, just like I was last time. :D
