Hi Ladies, today is my day 9 on suprecur. I had AF 3 days a go and it was vey heavy with clots and was wondering if the meds had something to do with it. Any ideas?
I am so happy i joined this buddy. The ladies have got enormous expereince with advice.

Theresa: sorry to hear that you had to have your cysts removed 3 times and they keep coming back. last time i ovulated it hurt a lot more than it usually does, i had to be careful when i sat down, similar to ivf, and it seemed like it lasted longer, perhaps that's why i had those two cysts. i'll go back to the doctor's office tomorrow, hopefully, they will be smaller and i can still go ahead with my stimulation this weekend. i think you are right, i usually produce between 15 and 20 eggs, with very little follistim and menopur, so that's very good news. hope yours will be the same. are you excited to start your first ivf cycle?
esperanza: good for you. i am actually in a similar situation, i do my monitoring at one clinic, much closer to where i live, and the ER and ER at another one. they do that all the time and are pretty good in exchanging information, so i would definitely go for it, especially since you'll have much more time on your hands. i am very excited for you.
wunnam: i have no idea about the heavy bleeding with clots, so sorry, but can you tell me what suprecur is, do you know if it is like lupron? that's what i am taking right now and i started my AF yesterday.

how is everyone doing? Well I talked with the nurse yesterday and I have some dates! Yay!!! I have my baseline on 12/21 and start stims on 12/26, this time they will have me on 400 ius of menapour and 400 ius of Breville one in the am and one in the pm.. then when I have a few follies that are 14mm they will have me take the antagon injections. So I guess I am looking at the week of Jan 7th. I responded really badly last time with only one mature follicle, so I am really nervous that it will happen again, but I have to stay positive. I have been doing acupuncture and find it such a huge help with the anxiety, and I have never slept better or felt better rested, but I really don't know if it will help with the horns that grow while taking the stims
I’ll let you all know. My dh jokes that he might just go stay with his parents that week – I think he still has emotional bruises from our last cycle

Pumma - hope all goes well at the dr on wednesday and you get the okay to start stimms this weekend. I'm supposed to start on Saturday. BTW, DH is german and that is why I moved here 5 years ago.
I do my tests and scans at my local dr and the er and et in innsbruck. It is a bit of a drive from where I live, but worth it for the good feeling we have at the clinic. Esperanza - if you can make it work during your break to go between the 2 clinics, I think that will be great and more relaxing for you, especially if the 2 clinics have worked together and you have someone to drive you around. I am also off during my 2ww and am happy not to have to work at that time.
Tali - great to have some dates to look forward to! here's hoping you get lots of follies when the time comes!!
Wunny - can't offer any advice about the heavy AF except to back up angie and say to call the clinic and ask just to be sure everything is as it should be.

I am starting 30 units Lupron on the 12th. My baseline is the 24th. I am scheduled to have retrieval Jan 4th. I'm not sure why their is such a long time between when i start the shots and my actual retrieval...
We started our first cycle in Oct but i ended up with a cyst so we cancelled it. Hoping this one goes much better!

So frustrating! I stopped bcp on Friday and no AF - and my body is showing no signs. It should have happened by now. I was only on bcp for 2 weeks - has this happened to anyone else? I have major ovulation issues and don't get a cycle without being induced, so maybe 2 weeks wasn't enough? I am going to call the doctor tomorrow to see what happens now, because I can't do my baseline without AF. These setbacks are really wearing me down! I had acupuncture today and she put needles in an area that was meant to help blood flow - so hopefully that will help soon!
BTW - isn't it crazy how we used to hate AF and now I am practically begging for it?!!

I am very excited to find this group. I am starting my First IVF cycle Dec/ Jan 08. Meds start Dec 26th (MERRY XMAS). Started BC pills last tuesday. I am very excited/anxious to start. Although, after reading some of these messages, I don't want to get my hopes up. All of my tests so far have come back okay.. DH sperm morphology is 0-1%. So our only option is ICSI.
I can completely understand why some of you would want to keep your IVF a secret. My husband and I tried naturally for one year, and kept it a secret as long as I could. After we found out the news, I could not keep it any longer...I needed my MOM! Although it is really nice now that I can talk to someone other than my husband, I can't imagine relaying the news of a BFN! I can completely understand. I really wanted to have someone to go to my appts w/ me since I need my DH is work as much as possible! ($$$$$)
Anyway, really glad to find you girls...sounds like you've had some experiences that I can learn from. I still don't know much about the levels that you are talking about...but I'll learn. Good luck to all!!!! PS I have a sonohystogram friday....any advice?

Neffi ------- ******* A GIANT WELCOME TO YOU AS WELL GIRL! far as your sonohystogram (sp??) is that the one where they shoot die into your tubes to make sure no blockage (have been thru so many tests in past year or so that i can't remember which is which!! ) anyway, if yes ---- it isn't bad..... doesn't take long.....just feel some "really bad" cramping --- not painful, just uncomfortable......and for me --- i got really nausious, at one point, they brought me a bucket cuz i thought i was losin it!!!!! i didn't.....SO --- not to worry......you'll be just fine!

Hope everyone is doing well. We had a bunch of snow last night, so even though my drive to work was much longer than usual, it was soooo beautiful. Its days like these that make me sooo happy that I live in such a beautiful place.
A big welcome to all the new comers – It is wonderful to see our little group growing so much!! I am so happy that a few of us all have the same timing.
Esperanza – Ditto to what Angie said, thank you! I too do my posting at work so I can only do quick updates. I am glad we have the same cycle – here is to lots of big follies.
Pumma –Keep up posted girl – I’ll check in often today – and will be thinking of you and hope all goes well.
Wun – Did you ever call your RE regarding the heavy bleeding. I hope it has subsided

Neffi – I start my meds on the 26th as well. I am thinking the holiday vibe is a good one for us.
As for me, I am a bit frustrated with my RE nurse. She just has not been very good and returning calls and following up on stuff. I feel like I am calling on things that they should be informing me of and feeling like a bit of a pest. My worst fear is that she is not going to like me now--and that will bring bad karma! Yikes! I wish people were just more sensitive and understanding. By nature, I am so on top of calling people back and getting back to people that it just really irks me when people don’t return phone calls. Oh well, just wanted to rant! Thanks for listening ladies!
