Jayne.....yes, I have that hunger every 2hs as well, terrible!!!!! .

Shantell...how are you doing?. So you have your OB appt next Monday??, not too long!!

Kimberli....I am glad everything went ok with your OB. So you are going to be on bed rest from week 26?, oh well, whatever it takes to make sure your babies are doing great!!

Well, I am going tomorrow for my first OB visit. We'll see how everything is going. I don't think I am getting a scan done tomorrow, because from what the secretary told me when I called, they don't have a scan machine in office, but they send you somewhere else, so maybe, hopefully, she will order one for me so I can see my beanie again!!!!

hello again all and thank you for you lovely welcome messages and congrats. It's nice to have told my new cyber mates since I can't tell anyone else yet! I'm dying to tell people but at only 5 weeks and 2 days I'm scared to. I'm going to at least try to wait til after my scan on 13th December to tell close mates so that I know if it's one or two babies. We have decided if it's two we'll tell folk it was ivf and if it's one we won't. It's more DH than me but he thinks it's no ones business. We think people will ask if it's two as we've been ttc for so long and unfortunately were quite open about that from the start. It's going to be a hard secret to keep as the Xmas parties start this weekend for me and people will wonder why I'm on the virgin drinks! When are the rest of you planning to tell? Will you wait for the 12 week scan?

Thanks for reassuring me about the cramps Shantell. They’re gone today which is a relief but I'm sooooooooooo bloated. I look about 4 months gone, I never thought I'd be looking for clothes to hide a bump at this stage! I'm going to have to seriously rethink my Christmas party dresses. Is anyone else bloated? I just don't seem to be digesting my food very well at all. Any remedies out there? I'm drinking lots of peppermint tea and trying to steer cleer of complex carbs but that's awfy hard.

Oh here's another question, can I take a hot bath now? I'm sure I can but have been scared to ever since the transfer.

Congratulations to you all on your bfps. Am most jealous of those of you who are 8 and 9 weeks already, can’t wait til we’re all over 3 months!

Julie....I understand what you say about not wanting to tell. I only told my family (parents and brother, that's it), and basically I told them because I had to be on bedrest and it was getting tough to hide that. But I am not sure when will I let the rest of the people know. I am so scared to jinx it!!! . About the bloatedness, I am the same way, I look like I am 4 months pregnant already!!!!. I think it must be from all the stimulation and all that, my RE told me that since my uterus is growing in my pelvis, basically my intestines are now bulging since they don't have too much else where to go, and that is why I have a belly (which also explains why my belly grows every time I drink loads of fluids ).

Hope...Hi, long time no see!!!!!. I am very happy your scan went well. About feeling sad for not seeing 2, don't feel bad about that, it's natural, we all want all of our embies to live, so don't feel awful about that, it's normal. About the ticker, you have to put the BB code not the URL, the BB code is the one that starts and ends with [img] (and make sure when you paste it in your signature that it starts and ends with [img] otherwise it won't show, delete everything else that is before or after the [img]). Hope it helps!!!

Hi Ladies,

Julie, we never told anyone when we first started treatment, but my mum kept nagging about us seeking help just after my first failed IVF, so i blabbed and she told my sister. So at this moment they are the only people to know and we plan to keep it this way until we reach the 12 week mark. On the plus side my mum lives in spain so can't blab by mistake.

Hope congratulations on the one beanie, i understand your sadness at only one making it, but it will be easier on your body.

Vicky, good luck on your appointment tomorrow, hope everything is fine and you are able to be up and about again.

Angie, how you doing, been a bit quiet lately, hope alls okay.

As for me, bit of blood when i wiped this afternoon, but nothing since and no pain so not freaking out (much). Cooking a nice roast dinner tonight hoping it will keep me full longer. Oh on another note my clinic worked out my due date to be 22nd July, so 2 days later than i calculated, not that i'll last that long. could somebody add that to the list as i am a technophobe.

Thanks everyone! I am doing much better. I am not spotting at all. It may have been from my ultrasound. My spirits are better but I am worn out (emotionally and physically). I just need some down time.

Julie, you sound like me when I first found out I was pregnant....my food did not digest well and I felt sick everytime I ate something. I still do in the morning.

Vicky - do you have any symptoms yet?

Shantell...yes, I have queasiness when I am hungry, and also to some smells. I developed a "poultry aversion", even thinking about chicken makes my stomach upset . Also my bb's started feeling a bit sore about a week ago, but that kind of comes and goes so I try not to pay too much attention to it otherwise I freak out . What about you??

I have sore boobs, extreme exhaustion, a pooch, and I have a very sensitive smell...plus, I gag sometimes. I feel pretty sick after I eat but don't have a lot of queasiness or nausea.

Hi everyone - good to see our group is growing and everyone is doing well. It's very reassuring to share symptons.

Nothing much has changed for me - still have sore bbs, feel queasy quite alot of the time, tired ( at home today on a sickie).

I have had a few more twinges this week. A couple of times I had really sharp pains at the side of the ab - both times it was when I was lying on my side and I moved awkwardly so I'm hoping it was nothing to worry about. Anyone else relate to this?

Don't know how I am going to wait another 3 weeks for the next scan! Oh well I will have plently to keep me occupied as we are moving house - terrible timing or what!

Hi Everyone-

Jayne - as far as the bath thing goes I was told not to take baths not b/c of the heat per se but b/c of yeast infections. In pregnancy we are more prone to them b/c of all the goo going on down there and of course baths can cause them as well.

I've been hungry as well however after I eat (no matter what I eat) I get an upset stomach. I have been taking tums which my dr said was ok and plus its extra calcium. The tums seems to settle it but its frustrating b/c I'm starving yet don't want to eat b/c I know I'll be uncomfortable afterwards. I did develop an anversion to ketchup. My dh made me eggs w/ketchup on them this morning. It made me very queasy smelling it and seeing it! So weird! I dragged my butt to the gym today and walked on the treadmill. It was a good workout nothing strenuous and made me feel more energetic instead of so tired.

Glad to hear everyone is doing well.
