Hi everyone,

Hope Thanksgiving was good, filling and relaxing. I definitely ate, slept and enjoyed my family. I don't know if I ever mentioned that one of my sisters' was pregnant along with me. She was 4 days ahead of me. Well because of pre-eclampsia and contractions she delivered her son at 2am Saturday morning. She was admitted Wednesday before Thanksgiving. He weighed 6lbs 2 oz born at 34 weeks. He is still in the hospital until tomorrow (Wednesday) for observation but he's not on any tubes or anything. He's doing wonderful.

As for me, I'm having a lot of swelling in my feet and hands and just very uncomfortable. I'm at that complaining stage. :( I told my Dr. that my sister delivered at 34 weeks and that I was ready now.....and she said NOPE, no way. My blood work, NST and BPP have all been fine. We'll see what she says about the swelling.

My last day at work is December 20th, if I make it that long. I'm working from home 2-3 days a week to help with the swelling. I can't wait to start my leave.

I see everyone is doing good. We're all getting so close, I wonder who will be next.

Take care and happy NSTs and BPPs!!

Mattie

You are so funny. I feel like I am in the same boat. I will tell anyone who will listen how miserable I am! I know it is all worth it but I am ready for these babies to get out and get their own crib! LOL
Congratulations Auntie! How awesome that your nephew is doing so well. Your poor sis though. Is she doing better now that he is out?

Christine
Thank you for your encouragement. It is much appreciated at this point in the game! I hope that your appointment goes well. The day is drawing nigh!!! Your furniture will be here soon-isnt that fun? I love getting that stuff ready. The men folk set it up and we do the fun stuff!!!! Good luck with that and your daughters b-day party.

As for me-the babies are weighing in at about 5 lbs each and doing well. For further details please see my blog-(so I dont have to type it again!)

That's right Tanya, it's time for them to get their own crib :D (I like that)
My nephew, Joshua Nicolas is doing great. He went home today. My sister is doing good also. She was talking about putting up Christmas decorations this weekend.....crazy chic!!

My cloth diapers arrived today. Anyone else using cloth diapers? I used them with my twins 10 years ago and it was great. Then they had a diaper service in Atlanta but now there's no diaper service in the area. So I will have to wash them.....we'll see how long I stick with them this time. But they are great, there's no pins to use they have velcro and look like regular pampers.

Christine, you're so good. I can't believe you've done your Christmas shopping. I did get a couple of things on Black Friday but haven't been back in a store since then. I hope your appt. goes well tomorrow. I have one also. I'll post tomorrow.

Hi Ladies,

Everything went well today at my appt. Just the regular checkup this time. On Dec 13th I will have my next one - plus NST and an ultrasound. Getting it all done at the same time is great instead of multiple dates. Then it's once a week with exam and NST until the end. I misread my weight gain last time so I actually hit the 20lb mark this time. I can't wait to have the ultrasound. I didn't have one after my 28th week when PG with our DD. They just want to check the baby's size, position and fluid level.

I hope everyone else is doing great. Looking forward to hearing updates. Take Care!

Steph
Good to hear from you I was wondering what your deal was! LOL I am glad it is just a busted computer...nothing too serious. I know you are probably going nuts without it though. Glad that you checked in. Miss you!

Mattie
I have never used the cloth diapers. I think that they are a good idea for the environment and all. I just dont think that I would be able to keep up with the laundry with going back to work and school and all. You go girl! Save the planet!

Christine
So happy for you that your appointment went well today. You are doing well in the weight gain department. That will make it much easier when you are done!

Well as for me and my appointment...
Please look at www.thejourneyforbaby.blogspot.com
for all the details. I have an ear ache and I didn't get looked at by the OB. Check it out. It will stress me to write it again.

Hi Ladies,

I went for another NST and Biophysical and all is well, they don't really know why it is high but baby is ok. I am just getting my stuff together as I am having my C-section on the 20th of December as long as Baby is doing fine. I got my furniture the other day and my DH and Brother put up the border in the room, as I sat and cried on the couch. I don't know if it because I can't believe that I am actually having a Baby or I am just nervous . I sometimes feel like if I put the room together I am jinxing something. I know it is silly, but can't help it.
We have finally picked out names....
Thomas Gerard or Alessandrea Rose. It took us a long time.
I hope you are all doing well. I will have NST & Bio's until I give birth. I have been getting them since 30 weeks. They decided that 38 weeks is when the baby should be delivered due to my APA.
Talk to you all soon.. Oh and yes my hospital bag is packed I just have to put my cord blood kit in there.

Well it is so so nice to be back YEAH!!!!!!

Lisa you are not the only one that is that way about the jinx thing. I now have the crib and all that wonderful stuff but keep thinking that once I put it all together that something is going to happen.

Tanya OH my friend I am so jealous that you are at 23 days to go. But oh so happy that all things are going well and you are nearing the end of your journey and those beautiful babies will be in your arms oh so soon.

Christine Glad to hear all went well with your appt. I am scared about the weight gain thing up until my last appt I was at 18 pounds.. Ha ha BUT then I started to eat all the time so I'm worried that the scale is gonna smack me at tomorrows appt :)

I will check in tomorrow after my appt.

Hi all....I really cannot wait to be done with work, they are really pushing me hard these last months, right now I'm on 2 FT projects...go figure. I wish I had the strength to run 1 FT proj, oh well. Only 13 more working days!

MdTerry-Glad your new nephew is doing well. 12/20 is so close, happy for you! I was considering using cloth diapers but found so many disposable that are biodegradable now, doesn't really make a lot of sense any more.

TansRN- 5lbs apiece on your babies is great...it's only a matter of time now!!! YEAh.....can you velieve it???

My2LnT- I know how you feel being disconnected from the thread, nice to have you back!

Christine- I haven't had a U/S for 8 weeks...kind of driving me nuts. GL on your U/S and appt

Lisabellas- nice names, so hard to decide isn't it!

I'll come back late to post more. I plan on not working at all today, mostly just surf the net!!! Wish me luck!

Just wanted to say hi to Tanya and Steph. I cycled with you both back in May/June and just wanted to wish you luck as you near the end of your pregnancies. Do either of you know what you're having?

I'm very happy to tell you that I'm now 6 weeks pregnant after my third cycle! I can't quite believe it and am obviously over the moon. Tell me it goes faster soon please, it's just dragging just now, I can't wait for my scan next week and then to be past the 12 week point.

So glad you're both doing so well.

love Julie

Hey guys...
I have updated my blog with todays peri and NST appt's as well as some u/s photos if you want to take a look. www.thejourneyforbaby.bloagspot.com

Hi Julie!!!
So happy that you stopped by. I will tell you that the first 12 weeks really dragged for me and then it flew by I mean it really flew by...I can't believe it is only 22 days until my c-section! It will fly by. Hang in there and congratulations girl! I am so happy for you! I am having a boy and a girl-check out my blog!!!

Noodle
Geeze I guess they are pushing you. I will be so happy for you when you can get done with work and just enjoy the holidays and being off for a little before you have your baby. It will be good for you to get a rest. If you can call it that with the holiday festivities! Have fun surfing today!!!

Steph
I think that you are going to be OK to put the crib together so your baby has a bed! LOL I know what you mean though. it was really hard to get going on the putting together of everything. I kept boxes and receipts. My friend was like you are going to be fine and you are being a pessimist! I was just worried. I know how you feel totally. We are almost there...I can't wait to hold my nuggets either! I am taking my computer and camera with me to the hospital so I can post the photos when I have them!!!! I am so excited.

Lisa
How much does that cord blood thing run? I was thinking about doing it and I havent called. I can't find a price anywhere either. Just wondering. I think that it is a great idea. I also think that it is a great idea to pack your bag. I got mine done today...all the finishing touches and now I just need to put it in the car just in case! You will be having your baby soon!!! Dec. 20th will be here before you know it! how exciting!!!

this sux...FYI no surfing today....all work and no play makes noodle and baby very unhappy....maybe tomorrow!

I'm on vacation next week,,ooooohhhhh I cannot wait to sleep in!

we are still debating the blood core thing....too much research on everything, DH doesn't want to spend the money (from 1500 to 2500, not including annual fee) but there are other options. Seems worth it for me but DH is harder to convince now that I cannot use my sexy body to persuade....LOL

Hey Jul1e Congrats on your BFP!!!!!! It has had its moments of feeling like time is dragging by but with those milestones like 20 weeks was like wow has it been that long??? And then now it's like wow we are due next month.. I can't wait to see this lil guy. I do hope you keep us posted on how things are.

Yeah Tanya that is what am thinking about the boxes and all the receipts I'm sure that DH can't wait for me to relax...

Noodle I'm sorry they are pushing you so hard at work that must really suck. Wishing you a quick 13 days!!

As for here I went to Dr again today and cervix is measuring 2.83 and all is well and holding up Woo hoo. At my last appt 2 weeks ago he weighed in at 3 pounds 6 ounces and today exactly 2 weeks later this little man is weighing in at 4 pounds 15 ounces WOW But on the other plus side is I have 13 days left at work omg I can't wait.

Hope everyone is doing well....
