Hi, I amnew to this whole process also. I am contemplating ivf starting in Feburary at The Jones Inst in Norfolk Va. I have heard so many different things, good and bad about side effects etc. that i am scared about the porcess. What's the real scoop on weight gain, mood swings etc?
I haven't had many side effects! Knock on wood...I did gain a couple of pounds, but I try to stay off the scale. I'm set for retrieval Sunday and I feel bloated, but other than that I really feel ok. Some people have hot flashes on the Lupron, but I didn't. There were a few instances when I was in a funk mood, but I don't know if it was the meds or just the stress of the whole situation.

thanks everyone.. i am gald to hear that most of you have only gained a few lbs and it was not that horrible. i am so worried about doing ivf, i am happy to have the support of this message board to help me through this proces..
My ER is Sunday so I can watch my football game on Saturday!
