Thanks Lisa! I'm trying to stay as positive as possible.

Well ladies, just a quick post to hopefully send some more positive thoughts your way. We did ER today (so easy - I was scared and had no need to be!!) and we got 13 eggs. The other day we were hoping for 9-10, so again try to stay positive. The most I hoped for was 12 and yet we got 13! Hopefully we will get some good fertilization.

Anyway, keep up the positive thoughts. I wish you all the best!!!

Hi, I am a cycle buddy too! I started Follistim on 11/23 and had US and bloodwork today. I have a couple follicles but not as many as I expected. This is my first time with IVF. Have been trying 2 years with unexplained infertility. 2 miscarriages already. Hoping this works! Good luck to all...keep posting!

Welcome Amy. Keep us posted how your b/w and u/s progress through the cycle.

Tina~Great news about the 13 eggs. Did you have general anesthesia or conscious sedation (Versed or something of the sort)? My RE does conscious sedation so I'm not quite sure what to expect with that. I did take off work all next week so I will get plenty of rest after retrieval and transfer. I'm glad you had such a good experience...I hope I have as good a one next week.

Going for my b/w and u/s tomorrow. I'll keep you all posted.

Went to RE today and I have 11 follies now between 9 to 14 mm and hope I will grow some more over the next couple days. My E2 level was over 700 I go back on Friday morning. How many units of meds are you on? They have not decreased mine at all still at 225 units and 5 lupron. Nurse said hope to do ER on Monday or Tuesday but still up in the air. Let me know what happens tomorrow morning with you visit.

Hi everyone,

I went in for bw and us today. My levels increased so we are going to continue. I have only about 5 follies 2 larger than the rest. So, I hope they will grow over the next few days. My dr. said that I am taking longer to respond to the meds. He said that it took me 5 days to get to where I should have been after 3 days. So, I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Thanks for all the positive thoughts and stories!!

I just got back from the b/w, u/s today. I had the RE that hates spending time with patients. He just sort of said, "You'll have about 10 eggs, probably won't be ready for ER until Tuesday". He only measured one or two of the follies and I think they were around 15-16mm. This past Monday I had 8 total follies but don't have any idea how many I had today because he didn't find them all to count. I don't understand how he can just say how many eggs I'll have when he doesn't know that every follicle will even have an egg and he didn't even count how many I had. Don't they realize that we hang on every word they say.

Brenda- My E2 levels from 11/21 (day 3) was 29 and 11/26 (day 8 ) was 259. Don't know today's yet.

Anyway, that's my frustration for the day.

Wow...sorry about the three duplicate posts. Don't know how that happened. I wasn't THAT frustrated. I did get my E2 level for today...1041. But not much else is new.

Sorry to hear about your Dr.! Just keep the positive thoughts going!
I go back tomorrow for us and bw. Everyone's E2 levels are so high! Mine increased to 99 on Wednesday so hopefully it increased even more over the past few days. Thanks everyone!!

Hi all...As frustrated as I was yesterday with "the other RE", I am equally as psyched this morning. I got to visit with my own RE which was a relief. She counted 11 follies...8 on one side 3 on the other...ranging from 13-16mm. She was very pleased with how similar they were in size...no stragglers. They are still uncertain about ER for Mon or Tues...must wait until tomorrow's u/s and b/w but everything else looks great. Signed the consent today for the procedure. I can't believe it's so close. Hope everyone else is doing well. Keep up the posting.

Hi all.
I went in for b/w, u/s this a.m. after working night shift. Everything looked good for trigger on Sunday night and ER Tuesday. Went home and went to bed in preparation for work again tonight. Awoke 2 hours later with excruciating suprapubic pain...doubled over in agony. Called my DH into the house to tell him and were just about to call clinic when they phoned me to tell me med dose tonight and time for trigger, ER etc. Told them about my pain...I was scared to death that this cycle would have to be cancelled or something. They felt it was probably due to endometriomas acting up with stim meds. Told me to put a heating pad on (which was already there) and to take pain meds prescribed for after the ER. If pain stays the same or lessens, I am to take my last dose of Follistim tonight, bedrest with heating pad (called out sick from work) and pain meds. Then I'm to take trigger shot at 10pm Sunday night and plan for ER on Tuesday at 8am. If pain gets worse, I'm to call them back and they may either elect to see me in the a.m. or may tell me to go to an emergency room. They say there's a slight possibility that an ovary is twisted although they supposedly saw no evidence of that on u/s this a.m. (not sure if it's possible to see it on u/s though).

Anyway, as if the pain itself isn't bad enough, I'm absolutely terrified that something is going to interfere with this cycle. RE said they could possibly trigger me earlier and do the ER earlier, but fears the eggs will be immature due to several follicles less than 15mm. I'm super scared. Please, please, please keep your fingers crossed that this pain subsides with meds and heating pad so I can go forward with this.

Hi all
Went to RE today E2 level 2532 and I have 16 follies that will be ready RE said there are some smaller that may make it for retrivial. But worried that my E2 level might be to high RE said that if levels over 3500 eggs won't be good. does anyone know about that?

Lisa - I also will be doing my trigger shot Sunday night and ER on Tuesday. I am so glad I have someone to go through this with on the same dates. We could also do our 2ww together.
How is your pain? Do they think it might be from over stim.? Take it easy and try to get lots of rest. Good luck !!!!!!

I have to go back to RE once again tomorrow morning for bw to make sure my levels aren't to high.
