Anyone read the book "BabyWise?"

I honestly think that w/ singletons you can be more catering to the baby. Feed them whenever they want and just simply be more flexable. However, if you have twins or more the creating a routine/schedule will be a life saver! If you didn't create a schedule for multiples you could be feedind around the clock.

Every baby is so different and finding what works for them is a job in itself. Babywise wasn't a perfect science for us but we have used many of their suggestions.

I'm so sorry - I didn't in anyway mean to sound harsh in my reply about the book. I do not have twins and can not imagine how hard that must be. Please understand I just was stating another option. I'm sorry if it came out the wrong way. we are all just doing our best...aren't we

We are all just trying to do our best...no harm done, I'm sure. I probably would not have read this book had I known about it with my son, as he was a singleton and I totally nursed on demand. But having twins is a totally different thing...I'm just starting to implement the book and I must say that I was refreshed after reading it because I was so overwhelmed with how I was going to raise twins. I'm an organized person by nature, but I really needed to read something to get me started.

Mazy~ I hope I didn't hurt your feelings! sometimes the words don't translate as well in type. Sorry! It is so true that we are all just doing our best. Often with a dose of frustration. There really should be a manual with these little people!

Besides, a difference of opinion is what make this web page great. I have tried all sorts of stuff recommended by other women.

Mazy, no harm no foul. I was just curious if you were demand feeding and attachment parenting with 2. That sounds like a nightmare to me! How old is your baby? Is s/he sleeping through the night? Just curious, because I have some friends who demand feed (and their babies are older than mine), and they are envious of the fact that my babies have been sleeping through the night since 11 weeks. I know every kid is different, so I don't know if their babies are being manipulative for the BB or what?

Twins ARE a whole different ball game, but we manage! It's also funny how every doctor/expert seems to have different advice, huh?
