Hey ladies...Had our first u/s and it was TWINS!!!!!! We saw both those little hearts beating really fast. It was surreal.

Needless to say my DW is on cloud 9.

vickersx3 Congratulations on the twins, welcome to the club. I think that makes 3 of us so far in July.

Vicky, well done on getting off bed rest, glad all went well yesterday. hope your not overdoing it now your allowed up and about.

Julie, I asked my RE and he said swimming was ok, that was at my 6 week scan. did not recommend the gym though. Sorry can't help with the bra thing although i am wearing underwired at the moment and no problems. I think because what we have been through we over anylise everything.

Nicaliw, glad your hanging in there, no more spotting and resting up well, your scan will be here before you know it. take care.

Hi to everyone i've missed hope your all doing ok.

As for me, feeling fine, got a bit of backache this week, but not felt as tired last couple of days. Still very hungry and bb's sore. And night time toilet antics, 11pm, 1.40am, 4.10am and then 7am. i am getting pig sick of this already.
Oh and the icing on the cake my DH brother and his wife popped round tonight to announce they are pregnant!!! bloody sods law, only been married 2 years, she only finished uni last June and had not found a job yet. Anyway bit p**d off as we are not telling my in laws until christmas and these will be there first grandchildren and they have stolen our thunder. They do not know how far along she is as she took a continuous pill since her last period in Sept, so she could be 8ish weeks or 4ish weeks. So its going to be close. Fingers crossed i'm in the lead.
Anyway enough ranting, post again soon.

Vickersx3, congratulations on your twins!!! you must be ecstatic. I'm a teeny bit envious since I just found out (in the ER) that there is just one but I feel very blessed that he/she is hanging in there despite the heavy bleed I had. You are doubly blessed! Thats great.

Jayne.....that sucks about your BIL and his wife, after all the years that we've been trying at least you want to be able to be the only one pampered by the family .

Shantell....congrats on your scan!!. The test that you are having done probably is the Nuchal Translucency, which is to evaluate the risk of Down Syndrome, I am not sure if I am having it done or not, my OB said she only does it on those >35, so will see.....

Nicaliw.....I hope the days go by quick so you can have your scan done ASAP!, I know how days drag between scan and scan when you bleed, but I am sure everything will be ok, just hang in there!!!

Nothing new from my side, just getting the house decorated for christmas (not that I can move!!), and probably going back to work this week or the next

Vickers...congrats on the twins, that is so exciting....we will all pray for a easy pregnancy all the way through!

We find out Tuesday, and it just cant get here soon enough...the waiting is the worst part. I have been keeping myself busy with Christmas shopping.....anyone else getting close to being done?

Hang in there ladies, I really have heard that some bleeding is common. Especially if it is your first pregnancy.

Vickersx3 Congrats to you and DW! How very exciting. You must be over the moon.

Jayne, what a shame they've beat you to the announcement but since you're expecting twins you'll almost definitely beat them to give birth since twins always come a bit early! Good luck with that! It will be really nice that they're so close in age though won't it.

Have started a horrible cold in the night which has put me back to not sleeping well which is most frustrating after having two nights of good sleep after over two weeks of not. Think I might see if I can grab a quick nap now

Jules, sorry you've now got a cold, sounds like your having a rough time of it at the moment. Hang in there, i was having wierd dreams the first couple of weeks into the pregnancy. Hope you feel better soon.

Vicky, sounds like you've got DH running around getting everything organised. Hope your able to move around more soon, bit sucky you will have to return to work so close to christmas.

Nicialiw, glad your still hanging in there, what day is your scan? got everything crossed for you.

Vickersx3, hope DW is not too bad with MS, i am only suffering now and again i feel very lucky!!

Hi to anyone i've missed.

As for me feeling a bit sick again today, seems to be proper dinners, ie with veg etc, I am cooking a lamb casserole for dinner tonight and i have to say the smell is making me feel very ill, also seem to have an issue with salad in my sandwiches. Was fine yesterday with a jacket potato.
As for dear SIL, feeling a bit better today about it all, and am happy that they will have cousins very similar in age as all my neices and nephews are grown up. But my SIl is used to being a princess so when we tell our news i have a feeling she won't be very happy. oh well what will be will be. I have waited five years for this nothing will spoil it.

I noticed that you have had a low beta. I just posted that my 2nd test only went up 50 from 94 to 144. Should I be worried?? Any help would be appreciated This is my first cycle and I have no idea what is going on

Hi Jill, sorry, i'm not much help on your numbers as my clinic only does one beta test and then leave you until your scan. However i do know they look for it to increase by 60% in 48hrs, how long was it between your tests, and what did the clinic say? i wish you good luck and hope your next beta catches up.

I'm very sad to inform you all that I will be the 2nd to leave this little group. We had our 2nd U/S today and found that the baby stopped growing sometime last week and they could not detect a hb today.

My dr was surprised since everything was going so well 2 weeks ago, but she is, of course, encouraged that we were able to get pregnant and sees no reason why we won't be successful in the future.

Best wishes to each of you. I look forward to reading about all the birthdays, names, weights, lengths, etc. from you all when July rolls around.

Hope, i am so sorry, i know words wont help at this time but my thoughts and prayers are with you and your DH. i wish you all the best in February.

Thanks for all your words of encouragement. I am still just about hanging in there. I took the ticker off my profile today, I'm pretty sure this pregnancy is over. After reviewing everything I think that the fact they couldn't see a yolk sac at 5 weeks along with the bleeding and cramping on Sunday can only be one thing. I just wish I could find out now instead of waiting til Monday for my US. It feels like a cruel trick....you're pregnant!...no you're not!....well you might still be!....this sucks. And I'm really sick of the nurses telling me everything could be normal.
Wish I could be more upbeat, so sorry for being a misery. I truly hope I can turn this around on Monday but I fear thats just wishful thinking at this point.
Hope, I am very sorry for your loss, I feel your pain.


Everyone else, I am so happy for you and its great to see so many twins. It is wonderful inspiration for the future.

Hope...... I am so sorry about your loss, I had a loss too and I know how it feels, but as your doc said, you will be pg again anytime soon and we will all be here cheering for you!!. Keep us posted on your progress, we are here for whatever you might need ((((((((hugs))))))))
