baby aspirin.....

HI LADIES,
ANYONE TAKING BABY ASPIRIN BEFORE DELIVERY? iF SO WHEN DID YOU STOP TAKING IT?

Hi Lisa

Glad to see your nearly there! I hope your feeling well. I haven't heard of taking baby aspirin before delivery but I asked my consultant about taking it in early pregnancy last week and he told me definately not to take it as there has been a recent study saying it could harm the baby. So check with your doctor first. I think the thoughts behind these things change all the time but I would definately check first just in case. Vicky

Hi Lisa, I am on baby aspirin for my prenancy due to a clotting problem, and my Dr told me i stop taking it at week 34. hope this helps. good luck

Lisa,
I took baby aspirin- 75mg I think- till my 36th week.It was to help with thinning my blood to prevent clotting.

I was advised to stop taking it at week 28.

Thank you for the replys. I am nervous about going off the baby aspirin, as I was taking it to prevent blood clots. I am being monitored 3x a week now, because I am so afraid. Good to here positive outcomes by going off of them. I have 11 days to go until my C-section. Getting very excited. Hope you are all well.....
