WOW! Congratulations to you LAIVF!!! :D
I have no idea what to think about the high beta's. The more I look on the internet, the more confused I am about whether or not it's even high. It seems high, but who knows?
I have to go back on Friday for the 2nd beta. I'm feeling pretty good about things now(although still in shock), but I'll be feeling much better if the # on Friday comes close to doubling.
And yes, I would love twins!
It's been a good day here on the thread -3 BFP's today.

Congratulations LAIVF!! Well guys, I don't care what it says on the internet, those are high numbers you both have. Seems that if they creep into the thousands after a few more days, that's a better indicator.

Just like to *clink* glasses and say 'salut/lechaim/congrats', and may our little ones inside keep developing into strong, healthy, perfect babies. (Smile :D )

Hi Everyone!
I guess after all the excitement yesterday things have calmed down a little today. I hope everyone is doing well. I'm trying to just stay centered, calm and think positive thoughts.
Here's to doubled beta's all around tomorrow and a BFsurpriseP for Ros( or at least a better result next time around). Tita good luck next Monday.

Hi Fiona,
I wake up every night at 3am, then never really get back to sleep. I'm so sleepy that I've been sneaking in naps in the afternoon when I'm supposed to be working! My nausea is not so bad but I have terrible heartburn.
Of course, if I have a couple of hours with no heartburn or sleepiness I start to think "what happened? did it all just go away?" Fortunately my sister gave me some good advise today to just chill out, see how my next beta # is and just see how things go. It helped a lot. I'm normally a calm laid-back person, but when you've been trying to have a baby for so many years it's hard not to worry.
My MD said to quit the progesterone shots & just do the suppositories now 3 times a day. I thought I would be relieved, but it makes me a little nervous.
By the way, I've been meaning to ask you where you live?

My second beta didn't double. It's 697, which is just a 63% increase. That could be bad news. I'll have to wait until Sunday to find out.

Hey 2ndtimer, Keep thinking good thoughts...I have seen a lot of girls who had way lower ..... for example I just read a strand from Fertility Community where the girl went from 55 to 86 and then the next beta she started doubling and was fine :).

I am praying for yours to shoot up!!!!

When will you go in again?

Thanks LIVF, I go back in on Sunday so we'll what the trend is then. I still feel pregnant & no spotting, so hopefully things will be OK. I've just had so much bad news over the years it's hard not to get nervous.
Did you get your 2nd beta result?

Wow, congrats LAIVF. That's a great 2nd beta. It really could be more than one, your # more than doubled.
I'm trying to hang in there. Just staying busy today and we'll see what happens tom. Thanks for your kind words. I hope I've been worrying for nothing. You're right though, this journey never seems to end -there's always one more hurdle to get over and here I am at the very beginning.

Hi 2nd timer - don't worry I am sure it will work out fine. Your beta has still gone up a lot in the last 2 days. Once you have your first scan your mind will be put at rest.

So I got my AF on Weds and I didn't even bother testing again on friday. I have got an appointment with my Dr next Tues for a review and to talk about what to do next. I am keen to start again asap but think it would be sensible to give myself 2-3 months break from it all. Do you know how much of a break you have to have before trying IVF again?

Still pretty upset about it all but starting to feel like myself again. I am a real exercise freak and haven't been able to do any exercise for the last 4 weeks (stimming and 2ww) so I have been making up for it in the last couple of days. Feeling really unfit though!

Anyway hope you are all ok. Good luck for your next beta tomorrow 2nd timer. How is everything going for you Sharishu? Congrats to you too LAIVF.

Hey all!

Hope all is well. Glad your getting on with things, Ros, and picking right back up. My betas are doing nicely, thank G-d. 2nd Timer- sure it's nothing, and hoping your betas shoot right up to put your mind at ease.

Be well, all, and I'll be in touch soon.
