Well........am now at home with no experts to help me!!yikes.........
WhenI was in the birthing unit breastfeeding my breast were really hard & once Jack had fed you could always tell fromwhich one as the other wouldbe twice the size.
jack is now a week old and tends to feed little& often through the night & not as much in the day(likes to sleep!!)
anyway I have now noticed my breast are a lot softer and am worried this measn i have not got enough milk..is this normal at this stage???
i cant believe how paranoid & neurotic I have become since being a mum
Sarah~ I rarely have that full feeling and I am b-feeding twins. Only when it has been a long time in between feeding like when we are traveling or something where they sleep through a feed. Don't worry as long as he is gaining weight. Good luck and congrats!

Sarah--I also had lots of engorgement the first few weeks, but hardly ever get it now (I'm 3 months out). The only time they ever feel a little hard is if I drink a beer Don't worry--your milk supply should be just adjusting to the baby's needs now. It's so much more comfortable!
