How big was that last shot?

I suspect it was small, like 500IU or so. hCG level takes about a day to peak, after which it declines slowly. Even a small dose will take several days to clear.

I got my first (+) 9 dp 3dt (very faint on an early response test.) But, I hadn't had an hcg shot since before the ER, so that makes a big difference.....

I'd go with Ghost's advice on when the injection of hcg would clear so that your test would be valid.

I'm keeping everything crossed for you!

I got a BFP on a HPT (First Response) on 12 days past my trigger shot and now 14 days past the trigget shot (this morning). :) I am 9dp3dt today. I am really hoping there is no way this would be a false positive. I took my trigget shot on 11-26. It was a 10,000 units. :?

If you really want to be sure

If you really want to be sure then I would try what we did. It's a little costly but I would just take test starting the day after my transfer. It will be positive at first but then eventually the test should turn negative. If later the negative turn positive again then you will know that's a realistic positive.

I know with me, my tests were reading positive for 3 days after my transfer, but like someone else said I hadn't taken a hcg shot since before the retrieval.

Good Luck!
