Hi Ladies,

FaithHopeLove - Welcome, Welcome.....I am sure someone on this board is close to your transfer time. We pretty much have the calendar covered and for upcoming January.

Michele - Sounds like you have great follies growing. It seems that these weeks have flown by. I was completely knocked out and didn't feel a thing. I also got great pain killers for later. I was a little sore but not too bad. I took a pregnacy test the day before my beta and got a negative. The next day at Beta a BFP. So, I was crazy for at least for 15 hours. Will I do it again. More than likely but it's torture and don't recommend it. So, excited for you. Give us a fert report as soon as you feel up to it!

Jomae - I am actually feeling better today...haven't seen the toilet up close and personal today :P Don't sweat too much over there. I'm in Atlanta, Ga and one day it is 40 and the next 71...so I'm cold and hot all at the same time!!

Thanks AMY and ESPERANZA ....you guys are all over the list!

Feeling pretty well now. They lowered my dosage of follistim to 75 iu. RE is very happy with my follies. I'm be very cautious about this but I am getting excited about them too. I find out tomorrow how they are growing from Saturday.

To all the ladies in waiting - I will need a list of things to occupy my thoughts during the 2WW. I was thinking the holiday will keep me busy but DH has decided to sideline me for pretty much of he time.

Baby dust to everyone!!!

Hello friends,

Here I am glued to the computer writing, writing, writing...

LB and Boo1 --Are you having your ER today? keep us posted

CT_Michelle -- Glad to hear things are going the way you want them to be. Good luck with your transfer tomorrow or Tuesday. Keep us posted.

Pumma--your time is coming as well...I'm so excited for you!

Wunnam --sorry, but I don't have any advice, this is my first IVF and I'm learning as I go. I'll be thinking about you, hoping that they won't cancel.

Hellokitty --I will think of things to recommend for the 2ww. Do you have a laptop computer with internet connection? maybe I can recommend some sites for entertainment :D Do you like to read? or do you have friends you have not been in touch with for a while? maybe some fun novels (I can certainly recommend some!) and a bunch of postcards to write can be part of the plan. I know I'm thinking about that myself because I'm usually pretty active and busy, and dh and I agreed that I'm going to be taking it easy during the 2ww.

Hi Wunnam - I've been cancelled twice. Each time I was still taking meds and the RE was very upfront with me when it came time to cancel. It sounds like your doing okay. Did they tell you your E2 levels? Mine were skyrocketing when they cancelled me. Ask you RE directly....we are going through so much emotionally, financially, and physically to not have our fears and concerns addressed!

But from sounds of it, your doing okay. We are staying positive, so go make that call girl :D ! AND let us know immediately!

Praying for all of us sweetie!

Hi esperanza,

We were posting at the same time and I didn't see your great suggestions :P :P :P !

I do have a laptop, so send those sites over! I was also thinking about scrapbooking (sp??) because I have a ton of pictures. I am not really artsy craftsy but I figured it is still a good time to start. I do love to read and have a few novels but I'm distracted already. I was thinking to keep my hands busy so I won't be naughty and buy an evil hpt  ! I'm looking forward to everybodies suggestions. Who knows, I might end up being pretty good at the artsy craftsy stuff and make millions...LOL!!!

Feels so good to be back to my old self. Thanks esperanza!

Good Morning Everyone-

Hello Kitty- I have been starting to think about my 2ww also. 2 weeks does not seem like a long time, but I am starting to think it will be the longest two weeks of my life! I think the one thing we have going for us is the holidays. I am going to try and occupy myself with some last minute shopping and wrapping of presents. Then as the holidays get closer, spending time with my loved ones is my favorite thing to do, so I plan to do a lot of visiting. And of course I will be busy with finals, but I would rather not be! I also plan to do a lot of reading and researching about what will come next in this process. Hopefully all of that will get me through the 2ww, and of course talking to my new found friends on this website.

Pumma- You and I are 2 hours apart. I will be taking my hcg tonight at 10pm and my retrieval will be tues. morning at 10 am. I also am feeling a tiny bit nauseus today and last night. I am not sure why since I have felt fine almost the whole way through stimming. Isn't it weird that you feel crummy on the last day?

How will I feel tomorrow after taking my hcg shot tonight? Is the day before retrieval an absolutely miserable day? I hope not since I work in an elementary school. It is a wonderful job 99% of the time, except when you feel crummy. I have to go in since I am planning on needing two days off already this week (one for ER, one for ET)

Hi Ladies,

I had my b/w and u/s this morning. Everything looks good, knock on wood. My RE said instead of 12/13 we are now looking at 12/14 for egg retreival. Slow and steady is the way, he said. Doesn't he know that I am ready to fast forward through ER, ET and 2WW to hopefully and prayerfully holding a baby in my arms?? I know, I know.....patience and doing it the right way, blah, blah. But I am excited as no mention of cancellation. Don't know if I could handle that a 3rd time

Michele and Pumma - how are you ladies doing? Just one more night until retreival. Soooooo excited for you ladies!

How is everyone else doing out there, how was the weekend? I think I am a little bit of excited this morning. Baby dust to all!

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a good weekend.

To the ladies doing ER this week - good luck!!

I am with you. I went on Saturday morning and my RE actually did my scan - I have over 30 follicles, due to my PCOS!!! He literally told me I have enough eggs for everyone!! When I said 12 last week, that was just on 1 side. RE said I am a prime candidate for overstimulation, so he cut down my meds for Saturday and Sunday and I will be triggering with Lupron (gnrh) instead of hcg, because he said that has been more successful in preventing overstimulation. I went again this morning and some follicles are 23-24mm, so they think I will trigger tonight, with ER Wednesday, 12/12. I will know for sure when they leave me a message this afternoon.

I felt pretty crappy this weekend - nauseous a lot - I would think I was hungry but then after I ate I would feel ill. Oh well, hopefully this part will be over soon and then onto the wait!! I got a massage to try to help me stay relaxed - and it was great!!!

Baby dust to all!!

Good Morning Ladies,

Hellokitty- I am excited. Just one more day!

I took my shot of ovidrel last night at 10 pm on the dot! It figures that the very last shot I have to take would be the most painful one. That sucker hurt, I think because the needle was larger. But once it was over, I was glad to be done stimming.

I can't wait for this day to be over. I have a killer headache again and the day is crawling. I am just excited to get to the next step in this process and will be happy when everyone else here makes it to this point too!

On a side note- Someone at my husbands job told him about a tv show that was on this past week that was about in-vitro. The show is called private practice and it was this past Wednesday's episode. Did anyone watch it? My husband and I watched it last night on ABC.com. You can watch full episodes on their website. It was about a couple who had low sperm count. They ended up doing TESE and then in-vitro, just like my husband and I. We laughed because they made everything look so easy, but it was still fun to watch. Check it out if you have some down time.

I will keep you all posted this week, and baby dust to all!

Hello ladies,

Hope everyone had a great weekend and is doing well. For all you that are doing ER/ET this week, good luck. Can't wait to see all the BFPs being posted on our thread.

I have had little time to think about my IVF cycle with a sick cat at home all week and to top off my week, my little puppy got stepped on by a 100 lb dog... Poor little thing. I spent most of the day yesterday in tears thinking I am a bad mommy and I should have protected him better. He is doing OK, but I am taking him to the Dr. tomorrow just to make sure there is no major damage.

Anyway, I have 2 more weeks to go. I am going to start cutting out the wine and start having a glass of whole milk every night for the next 2 weeks. Hopefully the kitty and the puppy will be better soon and the next 2 weeks will go by fast.

xoxo

Quick update: Just found out I will trigger tonight and have ER on Wednesday at 8:30am!

CT_Michele - DH and I saw Private Practice the other night when it was on. We were laughing at how ridiculously easy they made everything look, and how they were able to do the procedure on the spot, knowing we had to go through a month of testing before anything could begin!
