Hi ladies,
Well, little Noah is growing fast. At four months, his legs are already kinda' dangling from his car seat. He currently weighs 17 lb and measures 27.5 inches. His pediatrician says we should get a new car seat at 6 mo.
Trying to figure out how to determine when to buy and what type to buy. any thought?

it's the cosco alpha omega elite... i bought the same seat that i've been using with my 3YO, almost 4YO... i have had no problems with it... and my DS says that it's really cozy... and it is a rear facing, a forward facing and a booster seat later on.... it's the last seat you'll need
the evenflo triumph looked nice, but very wide, and the straps seemed like a pain... i tested EVERY SINGLE ONE thinking that there have been improvements in the last 3 years, and still came back to the one that i had for my 3 year old, and they have made the same carseat better.
not sure if you are in the US, but there are great deals on amazon and you can get free shipping... but i would go to the store and try them out, and depending on your car... put your son in them and test them...
also.... it seems like all the convertable seats or the 3in1 seats do not sit that well in the rear facing and i've always needed a towel or noodle to get them level... i tried several ones and they all seemed to far forward.
