Hi All,
You know, I still can't believe that after everything I can say that I'm 21 and a half weeks pregnant. The whole thing is so bizarre.
We paid for a 21 week scan on Thursday and everything seemed fine - I'm so relieved as movement is quite minimal with very little last week at all. But after seeing the wriggler move for a full 45 minutes non stop, I'm not so worried - the placenta seems to be just above (oh yes, HIS!) feet so that seems to be padding things a bit. Certainly not restricting him, getting him to stop for a few seconds to measure etc seemed impossible! Not only that, he was sucking his thumb (he can get out of that habit!) and opening his mouth (mothers child all right!!). But he seems perfect and the sonographer was very happy with things.
Thanks for all those who have given us positive comments and advice, especially earlier on - things are beginning to seem real now, especially as Steve has actually felt him move a couple of times. It's nice for a change to be writing positive things...
Hope everyone is keeing well.
Zoe and the 'wee man' xx

Hello

Just wanted to say im so happy for you that evrything is fine, the scans just make us feel better ah, a BOY god thats great use must be so happy.

I get another scan on the 1st Dec and cant wait.

Love Louise
26 weeks 6 days Twins
Well done Zoe - its such a relief to see your baby on a scan isnt it - I wish I could have one every day!!

We have just found out that we are having a girl (I'm 23 weeks) and we are absolutely thrilled to know and think it makes it even more exciting!! We have named her Alice and its wonderful to talk about her by name and include her in our family already.

I know what you mean about not being able to believe it still after this number of weeks - I feel exactly the same. Not a day goes by that at some point I dont think "wow, this is me,ME ... I'M PREGNANT!!!" Its just amazing.

My husband has also been lucky enough to feel Alice move too, and if I lie down you can watch your tummy moving - its wonderful!!

Lots of Love - Jo. XXXXXX

Congratulations Zoe (and Louise and Jo!) You really got me excited as my 20 week scan is next Monday (well it's 20wks Friday, but typically my DH is away working then). It must have been so wonderful seeing all the detail and seeing him so active. I've still got the memory of seeing our one move an arm and leg at 11 weeks and thought that was fantastic.

I'm both so excited and terrified for the obvious reasons. I haven't felt very much so far, although think there's been a bit more activity in the last few days, only once or twice a day, but not enough to make me feel it's real if that makes sense! I have also put on about 7lbs which is brilliant for me as I was a bit underweight at 13wks. Just want to start being able to look at baby clothes/ wallpaper etc, without feeling guilty, so pray that I'll soon be able to do this.

I know what you mean Jo about not believing it. When I wake up in the morning and feel my bump, I get the same magical feeling as I did on Christmas morning as a child, it's just wonderful.

Well I'll keep you posted (this is going to be such a long week!)

Nicola x
