Hi, I do have some good news to share (finally..)

We have found a potential donor from the ad we placed in the university paper. She's 21, pre-med, seems very responsible from the profile. They were going to do the clomid challenge test this cycle, unfortunately she has a cyst, so we have to wait till next cycle. After which she'll have physical and psychological evaluation. If all goes well, we will have our treatment March-April. Can't wait!

Jen - how are you? Looks like you had a good time with your sister and your feeling better. I have had dreams before too where I totally saw the baby, then of course you wake up :(

Nicki - how's the xmas shopping? How's your business? It's really good to stay busy. I find myself thinking about tmt at work when i have a free moment. And i agree with Julie about the pills. I wouldn't do it either. You never know!

Julie - any day for you now! Can't imagine how excited you must be..

Lis - Enjoy your baby girl. What are you getting for her first Christmas?

Hi to everyone else too. We have yet to START our Christmas decoration and shopping. And have my mind off this DE tmt for a while, if that's at all possible.

Hi

Souris - CONGRATULATIONS :D :D :D . So happy for ya. You and DH must be elated. Best of luck with all the future stages. x.

Weather is soooo miserable here. Really windy and hasn't stopped raining! Just wanted to give you quick midwife update. Everything fine and as it should be. Junior's head is engaged!!! So relieved about that as my mum had 2 breach births. Obviously doesn't mean "he" will be here any sooner but bump is still measuring off the scale...At 29 weeks I was measuring 33 but at 32 I was measuring 34 and now at 35 I am measuring 39!!! Considering my arms and legs have hardly changed it is pure bump but could be water/uterus. Go back in 2 weeks and if still over then I will have to be scanned to see if baby elephant  . xxx

Hey Girls,

Usual excuse I'm afraid...work, work and work!!

Souris - great news on the adoption panal - not long to go now!!

Judy - excellent news on the potential donor. What happens now? Do you actually meet or is it all done through your clinic?

Lis - can't believe Mia is 10wks already!! Where did that go? Bet you are loving every minute of it, even though I would imagine it is knackering?!

Jen - how's you? Glad that you and Adam sorted out about your next tmt. Not long now until you get all the tests done and then onto your BFP!

Julie - can't believe lazy 'boy' is so big!!! Lets hope its all fluid making your bump so big! Bet you can't wait now?

Nickie - how's you? I'm having a nightmare with my new phone and seem to have lost all my contacts!! Can you text me and then I will have your no again. Just a warning girls never go with vodafone - they are c**p! How is the weight loss going?

Hi to anyone I might have missed - hope you are all ok?

As for me, I am hanging on until we break up - the 19th!! It seems like an age away and because of all this nasty flue bug that is going around loads of staff are off so we are having to cover their lessons as well as our own!! Needless to say I am knackered!!

Went to see take That on Friday at the O2 - they were really good and the O2 is huge!! Also had a surprise party for my mum on Saturday, it was her 60th. My brother flew over from Dubai to surprise her so she shed a few tears!!

We've also had a bit of a nightmare with DH ex. They have a mutual agreement about maintenance and she then wanted more money. DH was fine about it but asked if they could sit down and go through exactly what was needed for what and then he would sort it out. He did ask if she could wait until Feb as we are due to re-mortgage and can then pay off some debts which will free up some money. What happens?...DH gets a phone call from the CSA on Tuesday!! Absolute nightmare!! I didn't realise that they don't take into account any of our outgoings but still expect DH to pay 15% of his wages to her. Don't get me wrong I fully agree with DH paying maintenance but when his ex is on £60,000ish a year, employs a full time au pair and takes 3 kids plus friends on at least 2 foreign holidays a year it annoys me slightly that she wouldn't wait until Feb! She now won't even talk to DH on the phone which is a real pain in the arse as there are questions on the form he has to fill in about her income and child benefits!!

Anyway, enough moaning from me. Hope everyone is well, catch you later

Hi girls - hope you are all well!! Can't believe we are so near to the Big Man coming!! Time is just flying.

Work is a drag and so glad I am finishing tomorrow and not Christmas week. My boss is just churning work out and having a good old clean up. i am supposed to be winding down - not working up!!!! All I want to do is skive tomorrow, open lots of pressies and go for my lunch and do NOTHING. Not much chance of that happening! Looking forward to the pressies and my finishing lunch tho. :D

We have our Crimbo do this evening at the Hilton - not particularly looking forward to it purely on the basis of the food. Set menu! SET MENU at £48 a head!! I am on soup, Christmas dinner (and Junior doesn't do Sunday lunches so not much hope of enjoying that) and Christmas Pudding which I hate :x ! Will do my best and leave at 10pm so get up for work tomorrow.

Kate - Can't believe you saw TakeThat. Sooo jealous. I sold my 23 Dec ticket but a lad at work had 2 for sale for Tues night so I bought them and then he let me down 3 hours before I was to go!!!! GUTTED didn't describe my mood   . As for DH's ex I think that is a bit cruel on you espec given her financial situation..Feb is only two months away when all said and done and would have got backdated....hope they aren't too hard on you!!

Jen and Nikki - Hope you two are ok...all quite and hope no news is good news  .

Souris - Any news on the adoption process since the panel approval?

Judy - Donor news? Hope so and hope everything going smoooothly

Lis - How is Mia? Doing well in her own room? You are breast feeding aren't you...? Will Pm you for some info if you are.

Love to all. Will post over the weekend and tell you about my pressies! xxxxxxxxx

Hi, all

How's everyone's holiday shopping going? I'm done with all out-of-town gifts, still need to find something for DH and niece. I will have next week to figure it out.

Nicki - how r u? Good to see your posting. Is it getting cold in Scottland? DH is heading to the Netherlands tomorrow for a week, not looking forward to the cold weather there. 60 degress is too cold for us living in Phoenix ;) Winter months is the nice payback for the 120 degree summer days.

Julie - have fun opening presents. So many things happening in your life, you must be overwhelmed! of course, in a wonderful way. You could have a new year's baby!

Kate - Hope your DH sorted things out with the ex. Can't believe with all her income, still so demanding. Your DE cycle is coming up soon, hope your travel arrangement is in place.

Jen - didn't see your posting lately, must be busy with the holiday stuff..

Everyone else I missed, hi and enjoy holiday partying/shopping.

I'm supposed to be done with my pilot cycle, which is basicallly taking estrace, and blood testing and measuring lining, early Jan. Unfortunately my donor won't be ready then, so I'll have to wait another cycle before we can start synching. This whole fertility journey has taught me so much about patience, which I'm still lacking :) I have to keep my fingers crossed that everything will work out with the donor ...
