Lovenox ???

Post by JesJes »

Is anyone else on Lovenox? I start it in the morning and wondered if you had any advice for me? I keep reading it burns the skin if you happen to get some on you. Anyone?

I use it. No issues whatsoever. Sometimes it leaves a bruise, but mostly you can't even see where I have injected it. No worse than a lupron shot. I do them all in my tummy.

I do the lovenox shots and they sting and bruise my stomach up. The other shots did not bother me at all (not even the progesterone) but this shot does! Good luck!

Hi,
I've given a lot of lovenox injections as a nurse, but I've never had one. Some people complained and most did not even flinch. I imagine that they are like ganerilex injection which I was on last cycle. Those stung right after I did the shot but not really a big deal.
Good luck with them

Thanks ladies!

I got my first one this morning, the needle is so little so that was not bad at all. But the stuff did burn under my skin for about an hour afterward then went away. Injection site looks good so far, but the told us to pull the needle out a little bit when you put it in and that helps prevent the bruises.

Good luck to all and thanks again!
Jessica
