Rebecca-
Well, I ended up telling more people than I intended to. Of course my parents and sister knew right away. Then someone at work, for practical purposes, and then my best friend, cuz I REALLY wanted to. My aunt asked yesterday "soooo... anything new with the treatments?", so I told her too. Other than THAT (

), I haven't told anyone else. It's hard, but I will wait the full three months (please G-d) to make the announcement. Your sister is probably right about people not noticing you refraining from alcohol. Try to relax and just enjoy the holidays with your family. Worst case scenario is they find out inadvertently. It happens, and it's not the end of the world.
Tennisgurl- congrats on your second beta! Great news, and good luck on your upcoming scan.
Nancy- Welcome welcome and congratulations!
Tina- Try not to worry about cramping. As you see, many of the ladies are experiencing cramping as well. I had HORRIBLE cramps last friday, so bad I was double over. I was so nervous, but the next day, my blood test revealed a healthy beta number of 16,071. So really, it's normal, especially since us IVF women put our ovaries/bodies through much more in order to get to this point.
Be well, rest up, and have a great week!
