ambrosine,
your braver taking the hpt than beta. PLUS with digital test you need at least 100 IMU HCG to get a positive result. You can get false negative with digital hpt if you have low hcg. The beta test will let you know if your pregnant even if you have low HCG. My RE even considers 10 IMU of hcg a positive pregnancy. I really think you should reconsider. If you din't get a positive with hpt and still feel you may be pregnant, you definately should get beta test done.
My heart goes out to you that it wasn't your turn this time. I pray your time will come soon and God gives you comfort and peace through this difficult and frustrating time. Hold on to faith.

Well its a start raving bfn on a 25miu..first response so i will take that as given.....I will now consider a 2nd ivf round. Just i have to think first about how much it will cost us...another seven thousand me thinks. I suppose giving up on the first ivf isnt an option..but all the injections ect are going to be a nightmare: however we will rest for the next few months, until i come off the progesterone fully. I cannot come off it quickly as it gives me bad panic attacks and awful side effects..so it will probably take till feb to come off completely i would think.
Meantime we will try naturally again, and then go back to the consultant i suppose..
thanks guys for all your support...

I'm so sorry hun. I know how difficult this is, definately don't give up hope yet!! :: To you!!
Hey everyone,
I have some news for ya. They have predicted a big snow storm hitting here in Utah starting tonight and going through till tomorrow. The storm has actually begun already at 4:30 pm. As you know my beta test was scheduled for tomorrow. I don't think I'll be able to drive in for my test tomorrow. So I called my reproductive center this morning and asked if I could take the beta test today before the storm hit. They were receptive to my concern and I went in today at 1130 am, and was called with the results about an hour ago. I was told I am really really pregnant!!!!! My HCG BETA number is 1442!!!!! I thank God it is finally my turn I pray and wish that all of you ladies will also have your turn soon as well. Thank you for being such a great support for me though this 2 ww. I don't know what I would have done with out you.

Aww Schel Congratulations!!!!!!!!!! I know you must be on cloud 9, this is a great gift especially this time of year!! Have a happy and healthy 9 months and keep us posted on your progress!!
Well, I had my FET wednesday, so I've been off lying in bed, or reclyning in my chair taking it easy for a couple days. Transfer went well, they put in 3 healthy embies. Two went in easily, and when the embryologist went to make sure they all made it in, they was one "sticky" embie left behind. So, basically had to have double transfer. It went well though. Since then I've felt lots of pressure, almost like crampy, but more pressure. Does that sound about right?? I just wanted to make sure I'm not the only one who has felt that, and of course that makes me feel like something is wrong when I feel that way. Congrats on all the BFP's out there!!!!! What a great time of year to have such a miracle!!!!!!!
Talk to you all soon!!!!!
