Hey Cla! Your holiday souns like it was really nice. That's funny about Charlie waking up at 2am ready for the day. I guess little ones don't understand time changes. It sure sounds like he's really growing up...running, eating on his own, etc.

Julie, the pic of you & Hendricks was really cute. He's so cute with his baby blue eyes and blonde hair!

I just posted a pic of my boys that I took this morning when we were playing around (reindeer antlers on).

Hi Guys!

Hope you had a great christmas and New Year. For some reason I couldn't log on at home, hence have been MIA! We had a great time - lots of pressies (for Chrlie not us of course)! and he enjoyed all the attention from family! We spent New Year with friends in Yorkshire, all of whom have various age kids so it was really nice for him to mix with other children (I think he's miseed that a bit as he's not been in nursery as we've been away).

anyway all back to normal now - doesn't it go so quick! Just the one day in the office this week so can't stop.

post soon!

Hey, quick message from me as well. Just wanted to check in.

My boys had their 15 month check up yesterday. Brady weighed 19 lbs 5 oz and Tyler weighed 20 lbs even. So they are still small for their age. Fortunately that was their last set of shots until age 4.

Hope you are all doing well. We're doing great here!

Hi all!

Sorry we seem to have been so quiet over here. I bet we're all the same - what with work and the little luns growing up you just don't get much time for other things (well, except for Kristi who seems to have 30 hours in her day!!)

Kristi - had a look at your blog - it's fantastic! The videos and photos of the boys are SO cute. I feel so computer illiterate - I wouldn't have a clue how to do that! Am popping in there often so keep up the fab work - it's great!

Tracii - are you all settled back in Vienna now?

Sue - How are you doing now? Saw that you posted some cute piccies on photobucket!

Julie - Has hendricks started walking yet? I know he was on the brink last time you posted!

Madiva - How's Colin doing? again, saw you'd posted new piccies on photobucket - he's so sweet!

Bella - haven't heard from you in a while - how's little Lucy doing?

Can't think of anything new that Charlie has mastered since I last posted? Except perhaps getting cheekier by the minute! His character has really developed and I can see we're gonna have fun with this little monkey! He's mad about climbing and has discovered how to climb onto chairs etc that just a few weeks ago he couldn't reach. I keep finding him on the kitchen table! Eek! Does make me laugh though!
We went to the Sea Life Centre at the weekend and had a ball! They have a glass tunnel you walk through and the giant turtles and sharks etc. swim right over your heads! Charlie was fascinated! (Actually i think we enjoyed it even more than he did!!). It's great going out to these sort of places now he's old enough to take an interest. Although I have to admit -even though Charlie gets in for free at most places it's costing us a fortune!! Oh well - good fun though!

Post soon - love to hear how the little luns are getting on!

Hey, Cla! Thanks so much for the kind words. Thanks for checking my blog too. I have fun doing it...too much fun sometimes! I stayed up past midnight last night looking at new thingy's online to add to it. Crazy!

Well, I'm off to Hawaii on Friday for my vacation. I can't wait! We decided not to bring the boys afteral (can't imagine twin toddlers on our laps for 14 hours of traveling). So DH said he would stay home with them. Since I had already paid for a 3 bedroom condo I invited my parents & grandparents to join me. It's kind of funny that I'm having a romantic tropical vacation with my parents & grandparents...but oh well, they are so excited and I'm their official tour guide since I've been there before. I am going to 8 days. I can't imagine DH staying alone with the twins....I wonder if he will survive??!!!

I just finished Brady's 1st year scrapbook and have a few pages left in Tyler's to do. What a great feeling that is to finish those.

Well, hope you all have a great week!!! And hope you are having fun with your little ones!

Hi All!

Well, can you believe STILL no walking  Hendricks had his 15 month check up a week ago and the doc said that based on all of his other gross motor skills that Hendricks is choosing not to walk. What a little stinker  I think he just needs a bit of courage. He'll take 1-2 independent steps at a time... then he gets so excited that he just plops down. Oh well! I was hoping that he would be walking by now, as we are heading back to Mexico with him in a couple of weeks. I guess he'll just be crawling in the sand :)

Seems like everyone must be very busy, as not many post lately. I keep forgetting to check photobucket when I'm at home (can't access it here at work.) I will try to post a new pic or two.

Hi everyone! Geez it has been forever since I have had the chance to write. We finally closed up the Munich house and have officially handed it over to the new owner. we are extremely relieved - it was a huge burden financially and emotionally. now we have a couple of weeks in Vienna and then off to skiing and a real vacation!

Isabella is doing great - into everything and I mean everything! She is now running and is getting ALL her molars...so she hasn't been sleeping very well. No talking yet but she shakes her head 'no'. We have all but gotten rid of the bottle - except for the pre-bedtime. Isabella also likes to dress up in jewelry and 'feed'her dolls - she is 100% girl! She is much more feminine then her mother and it totally amazes me.

I am sure we are all not checking in as much due to the kids being very mobile and also a 'little' demanding with time and attention. Kristi - I still don't know how you do it!

Gotta run - someone is wanting to play 'shape sorter'. :D

Aloha from Hawaii! I'm having a great vacation here in the Islands. As a reminder, we decided not to bring the boys, given the 14 hours of travel, so DH stayed home with them and I invited my parents & grandparents to come with me. We're having a great time. I miss the boys, but I'm enjoying being away. It's funny to hear DH give me the run down of how the day went with the boys...he's doing ok, but is certainly getting a good understanding of what I have to deal with. ha ha

One of my boys cut their first molar, otherwise no other molars for either of them. Tracii, my boys shake their head "no", also. I also started teaching them sign language so that really helps because they use the signs to communicate with us. They are starting to run also, and now they are able to climb up on some furniture.

Well, I'm going to get dressed and go watch the sunrise. I've been waking up at 6am, all done sleeping here. Not what I would normally do on vacation!! Maybe it's because of the time zone difference, but I also think it's because after 15 months of having babies I don't require as much sleep anymore.

Hi all!

Kristii - you're holiday sounds fun! I checked out the blog and you have some fab photos!

Tracii - Glad things have settled down now. You're posts always make me laugh as Isabella sounds so much like Charlie (by that I mean into everything - not the dolls and jewellery!!!)

Julie - bless Hendricks! I thought it was sweet how they say he "chooses" not to walk.

Charlie had his first sleepover at his Nan and Grandads last weekend (usually they babysit here). They roped in some extra help (dps nephews!!) but survived! Actually they really enjoyed it (except the 6am waking!) and luckily have said they would do it again. so planning my next big escape! The thing I enjoyed most was actually having time to pamper myself before going out. I had a long hot soak, straightened my hair and actually took time over chosing my clothes. Usually I run upstairs, brush my hair into a ponytail, grab the first thing I can find and run out of the door!!!!!!!! But we had a great evening and made the most of it!

How was the weekend for everyone? Sue - how are you????

Greeting all,

It is so nice to see our thread at the top of the page!!!

Cla - I'm doing ok thanks, started counselling last week, obviously very emotional but hopefully the way forward. Finding things a lot easier now Jessica's personality is coming through. She is very funny and loves entertaining people and looking in mirrors, - definately not like me (i hate them). Nursery have said as soon as she could talk they would put her in for acting lessons because she is so dramatic. She's also doing the shaking her head for no and throws herself on the floor, if she dosent want to walk the way we are going.

Great charlie's sleepover went well, many more ahead now!!!! It is a total blessing to be able to escape for a few hours. Its amazing the things we used to take for granted.

Has anyone bought the squeaky shoes? Jess has got a few pair off ebay and loves them. When she has them on she does a little dance, to make them squeak more. It's very funny to see how excited she gets with them. I think we have 5 colours now!!!!!

Tracii- Your holiday sounds fab, must be weird though being away from the boys and unbelievably you still get around to posting - way to go.

Julie - As soon as your not looking hendricks will be off and then there will be no stopping him.

Tracii - Hoping your vacation, is great and you get plenty of R & R.

take care all,

lots of love

Ahhhh..finally a little time to write (knock on wood). Isabella has been shopping with the babysitter and proceeded to fall asleep in her arms on the way home. I just fall in love with this kid more and more each day :D Isabella loves to be outside and I can not wait for summer so we don't have to pull on the boots, hat, coat.....I am now trying to enroll Isabella into a Montesorri pre-school..I know seems early but they are all booked already!!! Vienna is a huge city and there are only about 5 Montessori schools...so demand is really high.

Isabella is still sleeping really good - going to bed at 7pm but she is now waking up 1 hour earlier at 6am...and there is a HUGE difference between 6am and 7am. Oh well - atleast it is lighter in the morning.

KristiA - Did DH survive while you were gone?

Cla - Does your house always look like a tornado hit it? Isabella pulls everything out but she is very good about not going into the 'forbidden drawers'.

EYCI - Any 'luck'on the walking? Like everyone says once they start walking watch out!

Sue e- I am so happy you wrote. Jessica sounds like a real doll. It is great to experience this little (big) personality coming out. Sometimes I wonder where do they get it?

Bella, Madiva..we miss you!
