Schel - CONGRATULATIONS!!! How wonderful for you, especially at this time of year and after such a long wait. I am so happy for you!
To all of the other ladies waiting - best of luck, especially those testing just before or after the holiday. Hopefully the excitement of the season helps things fly along.
Thank you all for your kind words and support. It was very disappointing, but DH and I are feeling good - it obviously was not our time, and we are now trying to enjoy the holiday season (and make plans for New Years since I will be able to have some (or many!) cocktails now!!!!). I don't know exactly when we will start again, but for now I am enjoying the break from shots and meds.

I had 2 thawed but still compacted 5 or 6 day blastocysts transfered. How many did you transfer and what day embryo were they? Your test day is just around the corner and you must be sooo excited. Have you been staying away from the hpt's?

Schel, I am so happy for you. What a great start for all of us with that BFP.
washingtonda, I wouldn`t worry to much about the bleeding. If they said it`s o.k. then don`t worry. I myself never got my AF this month of course it never had happend to me before, only when I was waiting on it to start my bc. I was checked out and told all was a go and to start the Bc without AF. Never the less I got it on my 3rd day of starting the pills. I was told I may continue to get spotting or bleeding at anytime and just continue to take them till the 3rd. My lupron starts on this 28th. My first time around with it all and have no idea what to expect myself.

As for me...went for mock transfer today, also injection class. Everything went well. Lupron starts Wed. I was nervous...but I gave myself and practice shot today! It was easy... I'm very relieved! But I know that doing them over and over will get sore. But I'm glad I am past the first one! Now I dont have to go back to the RE until my baseline bw/ us around Jan 7....its getting closer!
My thoughts are with those in their 2ww!!! hang in there!

Pumma - This weekend will most likely seem very long. Hope you can have some fun and good luck on Monday.
Esperanza - the craziest place I did my shots was in the back of my buddies car between dinner and going to the mall. I was paranoid that I would drop one of the needles and that someone would think he was a druggie!
As for me, I did ET on Tuesday and then acupuncture Wednesday and Friday. (Insurance didn't cover it, but just in case it does help - I wanted to be able to say that I did everything in my power!)
My beta was supposed to be Saturday 12/29, but since I will be out of town, I will go in the 1/2. DH asked me the MORNING after the transfer if I could take a HPT yet. So sweet. We had a mini-bio lesson and then debated if we wanted to test while we were still travelling. I think I'll just try to hold off, but if I get strong symptoms then I might not.
Yesterday was a marathon cookie-baking day with my neighbor. 12+ hours of baking. Felt a few wierd cramps (embryos would have been 6 days, so old enough), but who knows. Perhaps it is all in my head.
To answer a question from many days ago, I am a PhD candidate in Biological Engineering (I work with St. John's wort) and hope to finish in May. Of course, to finish I need to start writing which is nobody's favorite thing to do.
OK - time to start packing. Happy and safe travelling to all who are leaving soon and enjoy the down time for those that are not!

Washingtonda-- congratulations on starting the shots! I know what you mean. We spent something like 30 minutes the first time and now it takes us about 5 max with cleaning time and all 
I do mine at 9PM.
Your schedule and mine are very close to each other. I go for my check-up on the 27th and I'm hoping to start stims on the 28th

hello everyone, thanks for the good wishes for monday. i almost can't wait anymore. i am so scared, i think it must be the hormones, and have already told dh that he will have to get the phone call from the doctor's office. good luck everyone who started stimming and will start stimming soon, you are almost there.
