That is great that you got some new pillows. That always makes me feel better. I love that feeling. I hope that you will be able to go into labor soon so that you will have your baby in your arms! Come on Tax deduction!!! LOL Thank you for your comments on my babies. I find them attractive but that it a biased mothers opinion!!!
Malinka
I was 33 weeks and 2 days when I had them. I was just so glad that I went to the hospital last month and got the steroid shots. That really helped them to be able to breathe on their own I think. I am doing OK as well. Healing up nicely and starting to feel like myself again. It is a good feeling to have them in my arms and love them up. I am not getting any sleep either...we have Riley at home and I am trying to pump in between feeding him. Trying to get my milk production increased. It is tiring. VERY. I love every minute of it though. You would think that once I feed them I would put Riley down and run to bed and sleep but I cant stop looking at him and holding him and thanking God every day for him and Sophie (and my boys!) I am just really happy right now. I have a great family and it is a blessing.

Tanya I can't believe how cute those babies are. And yes my cervix that had me so worried has held up so well... now i'm thinking it has done its job and can just let me go.. ha ha i'm sure in time.... but we both know how much patience i have.
Christine So glad that you are doing well.I hope that mom feels better soon.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! Ours was pretty nice especially with our DD. It was hard having my mom in the hospital and not being able to share it with her. Her outlook isn't very good so we have to wait and see what the next few days or weeks bring.
I had my 38 week checkup today and things look good. The only potential problem is the position of the baby. I am definitely dilated to a full 2cm as of today but when my OB felt for the head, she felt something soft. She said it could be the soft part of the baby's skull or the baby's bottom. If it's the bottom then she will have to talk to me about what I figure will be a C-section. So she ordered an ultrasound for this Friday to see if the baby has actually turned into a breach position. The baby was head down the at the last ultrasound. So we are hoping for the best.
I hope everyone is doing great. Looking forward to new updates. Wishing you all a very Happy New Year!
Love,
Christine

Bring on the flood gates opening right? I hope that you get your little one in your arms soon. It has been a long hard road to get to this point. I am so excited to see what little bit errrr big bit is looking like these days. Woo Hoo!!!!
Christine
I am so sorry to hear about your mom. That is never a good deal. With all you have been through. I hope that things start looking up for her. Looking forward to what your u/s shows! How exciting!!! Hopefully not a c-section though. That would not be a good deal. Oh well. As long as you are both healthy. That is what is important.

Thank you we had a good day. We stayed home and everyone came to us and then we just took a ton of naps and watched the kids play with their toys! It was great and we each had a baby...Couldnt have got any better.
Things are going well here. Just trying to keep up with all the kids and maintain some semblence of normalcy!!! LOL

Congratulations to all of you that have had your babies. We are due on Jan. 1, but no news yet. Getting very anxious. I am 80% effaced, 2 cm. dilated, and have had the "bloody show" I believe, but it wasn't much of a show. Did any of you that have had theirs, have the "show" and how soon after was labor? Sounds like it could still be a bit away. I am going to go to acupuncture today to try to stir things up. Getting antsy.
Good luck! Don't leave for the parenting side yet, or at least check in from time to time over here.
wannabeone - You must be getting excited! I'll share my first experience with you from 2 yrs ago - I started getting the "show" at a bathroom trip around 3:30pm on 12/6/05. I gave birth to our beautiful DD on 12/7/05 at 10:10pm. So I ended up being in labor approximately 22 hours from when I first had the "show" which was light as well. Best of luck to you! Please keep us posted!
Tanya - Thanks for your words of support. Hope Sophie and Riley are doing great!
noodle - Hang in there! Don't feel bad. We don't have things done as I had hoped. My DH kinda slacked off on stuff as well. I've gotten as much prepared as I am able. I'm so close to my due date now that I'm just going to do a little cooking to put in the freezer and stock up on some necessities but that's about it. Our DD keeps me busy enough. Please keep us posted with your progress.
Malinka - I hope you are doing well with your babies! Please keep us posted!
Mattie - How are you doing with your little one? I hope it is gong well. Please keep us updated.
Rikirees - I hope your little girl is doing great! Any updates on her progress? I hope she is home with you or will be very soon!
As for me - My scan went well today. Our little girl is head down, she's moving good and fluid level is great. So we will see what my checkup next Weds 1/2/08 brings. I have a good chance at a vag delivery but it all depends upon how things go. As long as our little girl is healthy is all that matters.
I wish all of you lovely ladies a very Happy New Year! Keep those updates coming!
Love,
Christine

Hello everyone hope you all have had a nice start to the new year. I am gonna make this quick since I have to go pick up DD from school.. We had our appt today and cervix is still holding strong(damn it) so the sonographer said ....... Lil bit now known as Lil man weighed in at 6 pounds 2 ounces. I had the group B test done and thank god my favorite dr was in a better mood. He did the first pelvic check since I was about 18 weeks and said it is getting soft and I am dialated to 1 I was hoping to hear 3 lol but 1 is better than none. He did set a date for my induction.... Jan 21st even tho I tried to get it on the 12th with NO NO NO luck The positive side is he said that even tho I will be on schedule for the 21st he really don't think that I will make it and to help things out he will strip my membranes next week since he is the Dr on call for next weekend. Wish me luck for ANY day but the 9th (X's Bday yuck)
Happy New Year to you all and can't wait to hear good news from everyone!!!

I hope you are all well. We had a baby boy on Jan. 1! I am so completely in love with him. I am in pain all over. Actually the breast pain has been bearable, but down under - train wreck. I know some of you have had c-sections. And that brings a whole other type of pain. For those of you that have had vaginal births - any sense of when I should expect to feel better. I keep hearing 7-10 days on everything. I think on day 7, I'm going to expect light to shine through the window and dramatic music to appear and it's all going to be better. ANYWAY, all of that doesn't matter an ounce when he's in my arms - which is often. I am in utter awe.
