Single Emb Transfer thru ICSI

Post by gori »

We transferred a single embryo through ICSI [no assisted hatching] and my HCG is at 1,250 on 14 dayspast3daytransfer. This is high. At 12dp3transfer, it was 675. Did anyone, who had a single embryo transfer through ICSI, ended up having twins? If yes, was it identical or fraternal twins? Also, does my HCG level indicate very high chances of twins?

Hcg levels are so different in us all. With my twins my betas were low and we never thought I was having twins. They were 119/349/900.

Good luck and let us know!

Hi

Thanks! Did you transfer 1 or 2 embryos? Do you know if yours are identical or fraternal twins. I am trying to understand this: if you transfer 1 embryo, can you only have identical twins or fraternal or either set?

I had transferred 2 blasts. they both stayed and I had fraternal twins at 22 weeks that did not make it. They were boy/girl.

See, I thought that if the egg split then they were identical but now that I researched it alittle bit it says it cna split into 2 seperate sacs. So I am comfussed. The only way you will know for usre is when you have a scan. If they are in the same sac then they are identical, if they are in seperate sacs they are fraternal.

When is your first scan?
