Oldies - where are you all??!!!

Post by Dee »

Sorry for making this sound like one of those 'exclusive' mails, but I am just trying to track down all of you old timers who must be getting near to D-Day!! Yes - you know who you are - I'm talking to you Sally and you Sarah. And then there are Wales and JD and everyone else that has disappeared for the last while. I am just getting curious on how things are going for you all. Sally - you must be due very soon! And Nicky - how are things going with the twins? Are you exhausted (or is that a silly question?!).

Things are fine with me. I have booked a c-section (due to having a scar from a fibroid op yrs ago) for 27 Nov (11 1/2 wks and counting down). I am getting pretty large. I have completely reconciled myself with having a baby (that took a while) and am just so excited. I finish work in 6 wks (roll on that day!). I have started ante-natal yoga and am due to start NCT at the end of Sept. We have found out that we are having a boy (not that I was bothered either way - just curious). I have a low lying placenta at the moment but otherwise things all look ok so far. I am feeling pretty knackered (nothing that giving up work wouldn't cure!) but other than that I am well.

I hope you are all well and have been a bit quiet because you are so busy 'nesting'!

Please please give me an update on how you are. I am dying to know!!

Love
Dee xxx.

Dee,

Hi - I haven't been ignoring you all, have had trouble getting registered for the site, but here I am!

Just starting my 32nd week now, no major problems at present. Covered in stretch marks (eurgh) and being pummelled from inside. One's breech, and one's transverse.

Babies are doing well, we have another growth scan next week, a month ago they were estimated at 2lb each.

Have been doing twin antenatal (one of the class has already delivered), and start NCT next week.

Bob's had some time off, and has made a beautiful nursery for them. I moved into my parents for a few days to avoid the dust & paint etc.

Officially start my maternity leave on the 7th October, which is week 34.

Due date is officially 17th November, but we both reckon that they'll come in October - we've both got Oct birthdays too.

Am 4ft in circumference (Bob got the tape measure out), and seem to be growing every day.

Have been thinking of you all - Sally must only have a couple of weeks - I seem to recall that her Casear was booked for the first week of October. Hi to everyone, would love to hear from you. Won't be online much anymore, you can get in touch via e-mail; Sarah_Rowe@lineone.net.

With love and best wishes to everyone, their hubbies and their bumps.

S
xx
