I know when I ring the clinc they say its normal for early stages of pregnany but I just wanted to know if anyone else is experiencing it.

Im 7 weeks gone and for the past 2-3 weeks I have been having some brown blood discharge, it sort of comes first thing and last thing at night. Im resting up and taking it easy as they say but just when I think it gone it comes back again.

Thank you

Tracy x
I know it's hard, but just try and stay vaguely relaxed. Like you (and lots of others who helped me on this site!) I started bleeding at 6/7 weeks and it continued until week 14 (sometimes red, with clots) The good thing is that brown blood is old blood and it could just be implantation bleeding. In my case, there was a haematoma attached to the sac and it took a while for it to come out, with my body not absorbing it. Apparently, it is very common.
You are doing the right thing by resting, although another thing the EPU told me was lying flat will only prolong what needs to come out. The good thing is your clinic don't seem overly worried, so take that as a good sign and try and stay positive.
Hope things stop soon, so you can start enjoying your pregnancy...
Take care,
Zoe x

HI Trace,

Just to let you know I was getting this uptil 14wks so try not to worry. I used to get it 1st thing in a morning and it used to be quite alot and then it would calm down during the day. I used to make sure I got rest and it used to help. If you are concerned please get in touch with the clinic.

The thing is with my clinic they couldn't advise me why I was bleeding etc but I had scans to make sure everything was ok.

Love
Shell.
31wks 4d pg
xx
Hi, I bled too, around 14 weeks. Usually throughout the day, oldish, brown blood. It lasted for about a week. I had a scan, which showed all was fine.

Bleeding seems to be one of those things that many women experience in pregnancy but rarely volunteer unprompted.

love
Debra

FET ing in January
Mum to Maya, 6m.

I bled too, from around 6 weeks up to about 10, on and off, mostly brown. I had weekly scans to check baby was fine, the cause was another sac next to the baby.

Easy to say, but try not to worry, and like the others have said, relax and get as much rest as possible.

Seems to be par for the course during pregnancy, I wish they advertised this fact a bit more, to stop us all worrying ourselves silly.

Take care

D x (22 weeks 1 day)
