Michele,
Can't wait to hear your numbers! Ya know my hpt was a high sensitivity (20 ImU/HCG) test I got online and it was only a faint solid line the morning I tested and got high beta number.

Congrats Michele!!!! We are on our way. Two positives in a week is great news.

I have some great news to say myself. I started stimming tonight. I wasn't due to start until Saturday but things were looking good enough to start now. If all goes well, this should move my ER and ET dates up to next weekend sometime. I go back on Saturday 12/29 for another US and Blood so the little ones should be filling in hopefully. Maybe than we might have some more definite dates for ER and ET. I'll wait until that visit before I update you'll with dates.

Good luck to all of you testing this week!!! This board is doing good so far.

schel- I posted numbers a little earlier...my hcg was 44 and I guess my progesterone was normal. (they didn't give me a number, but said to continue the suppositories) I know 44 is a tiny bit on the low side, but doc is just hoping that when I return on friday that the number goes up to between 60 and 80. I am pretty optimistic that it will go up. I noticed today that I was extremely tired, which I guess could have been caused by christmas overload, but I am hoping it was a sign of early pregnancy.

Neffi- I had 2 8-celled embryos transferred at 3 days. The dr said they were perfect and hopefully they both took, but I am not too sure about that with such low numbers. Of course, it is still possible, I seem to be slow with everything in this process so far, so maybe implantation was late.

Esperanza- Thanks for the congrats, all I can say is thank goodness the semester is over and that I only took two courses in the spring...one of the courses I am taking with my dh, so hopefully I can get a little help from him!

Washingtonda- congrats on starting stimming, that was exciting and nervewracking all at once. Is this your first cycle? I am sure you have said, I probably just missed it.

Mrs. G and Hellokitty- how are you girls holding up on 2ww? Just a couple of days left! Are you doing hpt's? Hellokitty- how is the scrapbooking going?

Thanks again to all for the wonderful support, I feel myself getting all emotional (another sign of pregnancy!) I will be sure to post my next set of numbers on Friday...

Have a great night!

Michele - Good luck on your second beta tomorrow.

This is my first round of IVF but I have three teenage children of my own from a previous marriage. Had tubes tied in 1991 because I thought I was done. How dumb must I have been.

Smiles and best wishes to all mt ladies who are waiting, stimming, testing or just lurking. Today is gonna be a good day. I just feel it.

Yay! Way to go Michelle. Congrats on your BFP! I am sure your numbers will rise nicely.

From the list, looks like many of us start stimming this week. I started yesterday and I have to say that this time around I am so much more relaxed. Our puppy definitely has helped keep my mind off this and he has just been so much fun. I go in for my first u/s on Monday. I am hoping and praying that I have a better response this time around.

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday.

Xoxo

Michele - Congratulations! You must be so excited!

Pumma - I am so sorry - please know you are in my thoughts and I know how disappointing this is and how nothing anyone says can make it better. I know you are taking a break, but please let me know if you do go the donor egg route, which is where we may be headed if the next round doesn't work.

Best of luck to everyone stimming. I hope everyone had a great holiday!

LB,
If you have questions on egg donor route maybe I can help. I used egg donor.

Thanks Schel! I am definitely interested. This was my first IVF cycle (blocked tubes and PCOS) and I had 30+ follicles - but they only retrieved 1 egg. RE thinks my ovaries don't work right (on top of everything else) and I don't produce eggs. We will try another cycle with different meds, but he said if I don't get eggs again, it's likely a donor for us.

I have 2 sisters, one of which is super fertile and has 2 kids, but I feel like it's a lot to ask of them. But I also don't want to have to wait for an anonymous donor. What was your experience like? I know I am being premature because hopefully the next cycle will work, but I just want to know my options. Thanks!
