Yes i hav been away...( i did say in my last post i would be in Glasgow visiting family friends and dropping off christmass pressies ) got back at the weekend but it has been all go since then...manic Christmas eh....

Jules fab news that you are offically a LofL ( lady of leisure) at the moment but come lazy boys arrival it will be all differant story eh!!!!!!!! enjoty it while you can....you muxt be getting so excited now, as you could pop at any moment ( hopefully not over the feastive period ) How is swelling and other general aches of later pregnancy???

elodie lovely to speak to you hun and for you to pop in and wish us all a lovely christmass...hope your is lovely too...and that 2008 brings all your dreams alive!!!!

Nicki- hey hun well done on the ww an loss that is fan- bloomin tastic hun...especially at this time of year. i put on 2lbs at Glasgoe from eating home cooking and many meals and drinkies out. ah well i will re-start diet after nyear. good going hun am so pleased for you.

Lisa /Gail/ MLG how are you doing our busy mums....hope qll is well with you all....

I am doing ok...been very emotional recently and working through all the grief stuff again..AF is 2 wks late but have been told it can take a while before it regulates again after a M/c...so heres hoping that she comes after christmass then i can just slep on eostrogen patches and get hysteroscopy done earlier in jan. Off to glasgoe and Ayr again on friday/saturday and wont be posting on the boards until after new year as i have visitors staying. I will of course pop in for a quick post before Nyear to wish you all a good one...and TO keep check on julies progress soon honey soon x x x

Nickie - well done on the weight loss - don't stress too much over xmas, they reckon the average person eats 7000 calories on xmas day alone Just enjoy yourself!

Jen - sorry to hear about the emotional stuff, but better out than in as they say. I didn't realise how emotional I was about it all until afterwards, but time does heal and 2008 is our year after all!

Hey hunnies!!!

Merry xmas to ya all.... Im really happy as no more work for 11 days.....Yahooo!!!! I feel so happy, like a weight has been taken from my shoulders, So looking fwd to xmas too.....

Kate, bloody hell 7000 cals, I wont eat that many!!! I dont have a big appitite much anyway, but yes, 19lbs since october is great, dont even know how i am doing it kbnow as i have had drinks out and the odd choc and bag of crisps, parhaps it'll catch up with me over xmas...... As long as i dont go to mad I'll be fine!!!
I am happy though, and feeling great too!!!

Souris, Nice to hear from you, hope the adoption is coming along nicely when will you get to meet your little un???

MEGA QUICK ONE GIRLS - ITS A BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just to let you know what an early Xmas pressie we had. WILLIAM PETER RIDGLEY was born Suday 23 December at 9.32pm weighing 6lb 6oz. I will post all the relevant details another day but we are both well and all elated - came home Xmas Eve. What more could we ask for xxxxxxxxxxxx

No now just slopping out at home, going out with SIL on new years eve, should be a laff!!!! then it'll be back to work on 3rd......

I have visitors until thursday 3rd jan... Adam is really burnt out and has had no real time off throughout dec and Nov...SO we are going away for a while .... away in moto frid4th- monday 7th...fly out to Barcelona for operation 8th to the 10th then away in Moto Fri 11th to sun 13th...we need a holiday and are going to chill out. Hopefully get skiing at aviemore if there is more snow... after the hysteroscopy of course x x x

I am still very run down from the septic throat infection so have a line from the docs to take the next 2wks off work. Was at acu this morning and body is so tired and needing a boost...Hope to get some sun in big Barcelona...

Thanks to all of you for your wishes and kisses on the site and via Nikki.

By way of update we are all fine - absolutely knackered as feeding on demand and by jove is he a demanding little fella - but loving every minute of it. Justin is in his element and being an absolute star helping round the house etc and neither of us can still quite believe he is ours for keeps.

My waters broke Sunday 23rd 6.10 am and contractions started at 1pm. Arrived at hosiptal at 3.50pm and was fully dilated and pushing at 6pm. The gas and air was taken off me at that stage and I wasn't allowed any more pain relief as too late but then the contractions slowed down and I was pushing for 3.5 hrs before having to be cut and have a ventouse delivery. We both found it quite traumatic but it was worth it 10 times over.

I am posting a pic or two of William on photobucket in a mo.

Hope you all enjoyed your Xmas and New Year, and NIKKI hope you feel better today chick (and Mark) and JEN I am wishing you total good health and all the luck in the world for Barcelona.

JULIE -CONGRATULATIONS!! Fantastic news honey, I'm sorry to hear you had to have episiotomy and ventouse but as you say, all worth it!! And you were right - a boy!! I am still b/feeding and will pm you about it. I am impressed you have been on to post - must get better organised in 2008 as been awful at time managing since Mia arrived!! Big hugs to you all xxx

Kate - hope you had a great xmas and are all ready for tmt in Jan/Feb. Are you back at school/wrk yet?

Nicki - dying to hear all about your Edinburgh break but glad you had a lovely time. Was I right bout where you were standing - Calton Hill?? What did you get up to at New Year??

Jen - best of luck at IM net week. So glad you ad dh are taking time out after everything. Have a great time, just you and dh, catching uo and chilling out with each other. Hope the throat continues to clear up xxx

Judy - a big hi to you, am trying to get to speed with what's happening with your tmt - donor egg pilot cycle right?? All the best and hoping 2008 is your year xxx

Gail - how is gorgeous Katie?? What did you get up to at New Year and how is te new job going? Have you started yet? Hope to see more photos on photo bucket.

Souris - congratulations on passing thro the 1st stage of the adoption process. All the best for the next stage and hoping you have your precious bundle soon xxx

Mia is now 14 weeks old and is absolutely gorgeous! Dh is totally smitten (as am I) and she is so content and happy most of the time. Have been enjoying taking her to baby massage and shopping! and hope to start swimming sometime in next few months. She is sleeping thro the nights mostly now but such a hungry horace!

Dh and I have made the decision to move back to the west of Scotland to be nearer all our parents so a big move is on the cards at some point. We will both need new jobs and a new house so will all no doubt take quite a bit of time but we are planning it now. We have both been re assessing our priorites and would love to be close enough to our families (who live in the same town as each other) for them to see Mia grow up. So I am excited about that! Not having them close has been hard!

Dh had 5 days off next week so we can't wait to get some quality family time. dh is in reatil so we've hardly seen him in the last 3 weeks.

I hope 2008 is the year for all phoenixes. Wishing everyone health, happiness and precious bundles!!
