Keisha—Keep up the good attitude. Sometimes your mind and body will need a break and it will make all the difference in the world. Enjoy your break and have fun, maybe a few cocktails, maybe a nice little getaway. We’ll see you back here real soon, posting your BFP.

Angel505—I am sorry about your beta. Take time to recover! Can you get out of the commitments this weekend and maybe do something fun to help occupy your mind. Don’t loose hope!

Jomae—How are things going? Have you started stimming yet? Your posts are always so thoughtful.

Colesmom—Yes it is true that the needles get easier with each day. We are all become experts here! Is your first u/s next Tuesday? Do you have any side affects from the shots?

WashingtonDA: You go girl with the great number of follies. That is great. Can’t wait to see you post your BFP

Mrs G—Girl, I love your attitude! I have also learned that we can’t let ourselves get too down over this. Actually although I am not having a great 2nd cycle, my mental health is so much better this time around. I am keeping a light positive attitude and it is making all the difference in the world. It also helps that my dh is hysterical and makes me laugh every time I get down!

Esperanza – Thank you for the kind words and thank you for updating our list so we can all keep tabs on each other. Post results after your u/s today.

To all our mommies – How are you doing? You give us all hope!

I had my day 9 u/s today. The good news is that there were 4 follies 2 were at almost 9 mm 2 at 5…. The bad news is that my RE wants my E2 to be pretty high today in order to continue. 2 days ago my E2 was 71… The better news is that I feel pretty good, even if we cancel this cycle, I know whatever is supposed to happen will happen. We all have to hold on to our hope and faith.

Lots of baby dust to all my lovely ladies!

Xoxo

Angel505 - I'm sorry you did not get the results that we all wanted for you. Although it sounds like a very busy time for you right now, try to take some time for yourself.

Tali - Hey, don't count me out yet for this time. The fat lady doesn't sing until Tuesday at my ultrasound. I just needed that day to say what the hell is really going on!

Tali - Totally forgot to to root you on for a high E2 level! I have fought that fight before...comes down to right the cocktail of meds.

Schel - Thanks for the words of encouragement. But I know for myself, I need time to scream and wail at this crap that we go through to get our miracle babies. I don't believe in smothering down any of my feelings. As long as you get back up and not wallow in it, it is all good! Glad you are progressing so well! Like I said, you are a great cheerleader!

Hello my ladies!

keisha--you're right, we need to grieve, scream, cry, and show all of our emotions. Then we pick ourselves up and keep going!

Schel--how's your little bean? how did your ultrasound go? I can't wait to hear about it :)

Michelle--didn't you have your ultrasound today as well? tell us, tell us...

Tali--hey girl! we are rooting for you here. I'm sending positive vibes your way for your values to get where they need to be.

As for me, I went to get my u/s and b/w. I'm waiting to hear about my levels, but u/s wise, things are looking up :D ER said that I may trigger on Monday        They may ask me to stop the Follistim shots for a couple of days, but that will depend on my levels. I'll keep you all posted.

Ok, so I just heard from my nurse. They want me to stop the follistim. I only have to do my 5 units of Lupron tonight. I have to be back there tomorrow at 8:15AM for b/w and u/s. This is getting exciting, I'm just a bit nervous about OHSS. I'll keep you posted :?

well, it looks like my progress is slow but steady... the nurse just called and my E2 went from 71 to 108 in 2 days. Not impressive, but enough for them to keep me on the stims until at least Sunday's u/s and b/w.

xoxo

Hey everyone,

Esperanza- No, my ultrasound is not until Tuesday. I think it could have been as early as today, but my dr's office has a half day on fridays and I think they are doing retrievals in the mornings next week, so Tuesday afternoon was the earliest they wanted to see me. I can't wait, and I will definitely update after I go.

Neffi- Thanks for the kind words. I know you and I are in similar boats, first ivf, male factor. Just keep that pma and baby dust to you!

To everyone else, Thank goodness it's friday and all of you have a wonderful weekend!

Angel505 wrote:Hi ladies,

Thanks for your kind words and encouragement. Unfortunately it is truly over as confrimed by the blood test results. Its a definite BFN for me. :(

I've had heavy bleeding. Its the 7th day today and is just about slowing down. Did anyone else experience that after a failed IVF?

Sorry for bringing the mood down with my misery. I forgot to say congrats to all the ladies who got their BFP. Well done. Your BFP gives hope to the rest of us.

This weekend I want to try and recover. Have to go for my husband's aunt's funeral and see a friend who got a baby. Both are depressing in different ways and I'm not sure if I'm up to either.

Enjoy your weekend.
Angel - I'm so sorry it didn't work for you this time. Are you giving it another go? I had real heavy bleeding with my fresh cycle. I typically only have af for 2-3 days and it lasted well into day 7. Also this FET cycle I have had af for 5 days it was heavy the first couple of days and is slowly tapering off.

Hang in there sweetie, it will happen for you! :D

Congrats Schel! That is awesome! Is that your actual pic from today? I can not wait until tuesday, but I don't know what to expect to see. Did you hear a heartbeat or were you just able to see the motion? I have read in books that you can't hear it until later, so I am trying not to get my hopes up. I will be 6 weeks and 1 day at my ultrasound on Tuesday. What comes next for you schel? Another ultrasound soon? Congrats again!

CT_Michele,
yeppers, that be my actual ultrasound. I was only able to see the heartbeat. It was a fast little flicker. I sure wish I could do animation to the picture to show it.
Hey, will it b 6 weeks and 1 day since your transfer or 6 weeks 1 day since egg fertilization? How many day transfer were you? For example my transfer was a 5day frozen embryo transfer on dec. 7, so my conception date would be dec. 2. making me 4 weeks 6 days since conception or 6 weeks 6 days since (LMP). I ask cuz I read somewhere that the heart isn't visible til 6 weeks 5 days (LMP). This is an exciting time! Congrats to you again, and thanks for sharing with me.

Schel- I did a fresh cycle, ER on 12/11, ET on 12/14 with 3 day embryos. I will be 6 weeks 1 day pregnant, which I guess is technically since LMP, even though I haven't seen AF for months. (I never got AF after BCP and before stimming) So I guess my date of conception would be my date of ER??? Either way, if what you read is correct, then I will be a few days shy of seeing the heartbeat, so I will probably see it the following week. So if I can't see the heartbeat, what might I see? Thanks for the info, it definitely eases my wait until Tuesday.
