ET today...acupuncture this morning? Need quick answers!

I know my acupuncturist would fit me in, I'm just wondering if any of y'all have found it help, or think that it helps. (I forgot to ask my RE about it-d'oh!)

It helped me. I had 2 rounds of IVF & 1 FET, all with BFN's even though I responded really to the meds and our diagnosis is male factor. Then my MD told me I had to get acupuncture right before the transfer. The first time was a FET -I got a couple of (+)'s on HPT's but it went away by the time I got my blood test. Most recently I underwent another IVF cycle & had 2 grade A blastocysts transferred after acupuncture. Now I'm 5 weeks pregnant!

Hey Laura-
Lots of luck on your ET! Hoping for BFP for you in 2 weeks (or less ). I had acupuncture 2 days post ET. My acupuncturist told me it's not too late. Well, I am pregnant now (5 weeks +). Hope this helps. Also, women HAVE been known to fall pregnant without acupuncture at all , so try to relax and think positive.

I have been doing accupuncture for about 3wks now...I am starting my meds 1/9. The accupuncturist will come to the surgery center on the day of the transfer and do an accupuncture session right before the transfer and right after. It's based on some German study and is supposed to help with implantation and relax your uterus.
I found that accupuncture really relaxes me. I love it.
Hoping it'll help with implantation like they say.

I too am trying the accupuncture route with this my first round of IVF. Everything I have read seems positive about it and I am not sure if this is true but my friend who introduced me to my accupuncture place told me that Jennifer Lopez had accupuncture there too! I am planning on using them during my transfer as it has been shown to reduce the cramping in the uterus that could expel the transfers. Best of luck..

Accu is great! I did it for nearly 3 months and it did wonders for me. My gal came to my RE's office the day of the FET and then a few days later she did another treatment.

A few weeks ago I got a BFP! Yeah! I give so much credit to accu and of course God!

Best of Luck to each of you! I highly encourage accu.. It can be costly, but totally worth it!
