Hi Trace,

Well to be honest I couldn't have sex because of the bleeding so I am unable to answer your question. They say that it doesn't harm the baby or anything but if bleeding they don't recommend it you have to be careful.

Love
Shell.
32wks 2d pg
xx

Tracy

Fantastic news glad to hear everything is well with you and baby. I can't help with the sex think I think it depends on own own circumstances. I'm going to play it safe and wait for 12wks. Mind you over the last week I've been having erotic dreams and waking up feeling very randy.

Vicki X
Tracy

So glad your 8 week scan went well. It's a nightmare waiting for each scan isn't it? It's also amazing how quickly the baby grows over a week or two. I can't even think about sex just yet. I have have really bad sickness and a constant headache but DH is very understanding thankfully.

Vicki I too have been waking up after erotic dreams but as soon as I am awake thats where it stops, much to DH's dismay.

Hope everyone else is doing ok. I have got my Nuchal scan on Thursday which I am terrified of having. Being 35 I am in the older age range so our chances of Downes are higher. Fingers crossed.

See ya Love Dagny xx
11 weeks 5 days

[Edited by Dagny on 01-Dec-03 03:52]

Excellent news Tracy

Your question about sex - well, in my house there hasn[t been any at all since I found out I was pregnant! Poor DH keeps reading that round about now (im 27 weeks) i should be feeling randy as hell - nope! Can't think of anything more inconvenient at the moment! To start with, it was the fear of something happening if we did, but now I just can't be *rsed! Id rather have a cuddle on the sofa with DH, a cup of tea and a big bar of chocca!

Sorry, can't actually be of any help!

Love

Rachel
x

Hi Tracy,
Great news on your scan - you must be so relieved - there's nothing like seeing the lttle one on the screen - I could've laid all day being scanned!
We were advised 12 weeks before having sex but that was cos we'd lost a baby before. But I think its a very individual thing - all the books etc say its ok if no bleeding but with IVF you just don't want to take the chance.
Dagny - I'm 37 and went for Nuchal scan last week - don't know if you saw my posting on the disaster I had. But I was told my chances were 1 in 220 and you're younger than me so your chances will be even more reduced than that!
Di
