Hi my name is Angela and I live in Dallas Texas. My husband and I have been ttc for almost 6 years. I have endometriosis and lost my first tube when I was 18 (I'm 27 now). Almost two years ago I became pregnant on Mother's Day and two days later found out it was a tubal. My tube ruptured and emergency surgery was perform. My only option of conception is IVF. I have been researching many facilities in my area. My husband and I are looking to start IVF in January if we can find the right facility for us. My insurance covers a lifetime maximum of $25K for fertility treatment and testing with a lifetime maximum of $5K. I'm so nervous about all of this. what if it doesn't work? I want to be a mother so bad and have so many thoughts going through my head. What if I choose the wrong doctor?
Does anyone live in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and know of a good doctor or fertility clinic? Any suggestions would be great... also once I find a doctor, where do I start???
Hey there. Just read your message and I remember researching a clinic in Plano. Methodist, I think. But how apt are you to driving to Houston? The clinic I am going to is the sister clinic to CCRM (in colorado). And they just opened a second office in the Woodlands (at least it is a little closer). I love the staff there. I always tell them that I feel like a queen when I call or go for a visit. They are very compsionate. And the doc's are great! If you are interested, email me.
We are all in it together. Good luck to you and your DH!!

Hi Angela,
I also have endo and had a tubal pregnancy last year. Luckily, it was an injectible cycle so they figured it out quickly. It was still a HORRIBLE and painful experience. I now have a bad tube so moved on to IVF. I was FREAKING out about it beforehand but it really wasn't bad at all. You just have to get used to the shots, which you will quickly. Knowing what you're working for, it's all worth it. It was successful in that I got pregnant, but then I miscarried. Starting my 2nd attempt this week! I have 8 frozen embryos. Hang in there and remember that you are so NOT alone. Good luck to you!
