Hi fiona

Of course I didn't mean Helen S!!! NOthing is going to stop her this time, she is ready and all set to go in January. I've got a really positive feeling for her this time. SHe said you had a nice night together last week (or was it the week before!). She keeps me up to date with how you are doing. I've tried to get to grips with the FF website, but I'm useless and can't find my way round it. So I rely on H!

You are really cooking on gas now! How exciting, and haven't you just found out what you are having? A boy - Alexander - lovely!!! He will soon be here, I bet you can't wait.

I'm looking forward to getting the scan out of the way on friday and then dh and I are off on our very belated honeymoon to mauritius for two weeks - hurrah.

You take care of yourself!!

love nikola.xx

Hi Nikola,

Phew - I thought it would have been a bit of a turn around in only a week for H, but with her new job and all.... OK, will stop being a silly-billy worrier on that. I too have got this great feeling about her next cycle, I'm sure she's gonna end up with twinnies like you and I will not let her get down-hearted about it all, she is going to succeed!

We've had some more problems with my mum again - her first comments after we told her we were having her boy was "but I wanted a grand-daughter!!" and things haven't been the same since (as you can imagine) and its been getting me down a bit (well, quite a lot the last few days - lost of tears and such like). Anyway, Les has had a quiet word in the shell-like this morning, so maybe it'll be better when I get home tonight.

What we'll have to do is the three of us met up for lunch - did H ever tell you about the fab cafe in Uppermill we found (not sure if that is a real treck for you or not?).

As for FF. Best way to get familiar with it (and catch up with anyone you know) is go to the 'Members List' and find their username (me and Shell have the same on there as here) best by 'View by Letter', click on their username (goes to profile) then "Show the last <> posts of this person" and you will find their posts - if you want more info, you can then select the thread titles e.g. 'General Category / Bun in the Oven / Re:1st Trimester part 18'. You'll be a wizz in no time and have made even more friends who understand.

I'll be looking out for your friday scan results - take care of yourself on your honeymoon and have a fantastic time.

Lots of love

Fiona xxxx

Fiona - I can't believe your mum! I'm shocked. Bloody hell, my mum and chris' mum are both so excited they couldn't care less if we gave birth to an elephant (although I'd not be too pleased!) The worst I get from my mum is that she doesn't like some of our names, but I say names that I know she won't like to give her something to think about.

Chris' mum doesn't like to admit that its IVF (funny business!), she is much older - in her 70s and if it suits her to think I conceived naturally (the fact its more or less impossible has nothing to do with it!) then thats fine.

I'd rather deal with these two than with yours. What a nightmare.

We should deffo meet up soon. Helen, Tracey Sharp and I have been trying to meet for lunch for the last four months!! Something always crops up. I drove down to see Tracey at the weekend, she is great - how she copes with everything and remains so positive I'll never know.

You keep an eye on Helen S for me whilst I'm gone. She seems really positive and ready to go now. Did she tell you about her high FSH level? Although in comparison to you and mum it was low!! I've told her she has nothing to worry about - mine was much higher and I managed it - so did you. It will be her turn next.

Take care, whilst I'm away. Catch up with you when I get back - I might even give FF another go then too.

lvoe nikola.xx

Hi Dagny

I've posted somewhere else about our scan - it was great and a huge relief to see them both and get it out of the way. I'm glad yours went well too. We seem to have one hyper active one and the other is much quieter - s/he seemed quite content curled up in a ball with its legs crossed whilst the other one was kicking and waving and carrying on. Bound to be a boy!

I'm glad things are progressing well for you. Take care.

love nikola.xx
