Hi ladies,
I am not currently pregnant but I am a new mommy. I had previa during my pregnancy which resulted in some complications during the c-section. I keep reading that previa is 6 times more likely with IVF due to the placement of embryo in lower portion of the uterus.
I am trying to see if any one else had this. Not trying to scare anyone, just trying to understand it better since we may try IVF again for a second baby.

Firstly - congratulations on becoming a mum !!!
I had to have a c-section at 39 weeks due to placenta previa. Saying that I had a totally wonderful and problem free pregnancy and a straight forward delivery.
Luckily in 90% of cases placenta previa does correct itself before birth so I'm sorry to hear that in your case it caused you problems.
Hope this will help with your research into whether or not there is a link to IVF.
