Endo Diet

Post by edna_n_lou »

I reading a book about endo and infertility. The author has severe endo and has controlled it with diet. She eats organic food (meats, fruit, veggies), no processed food, no additives, no refined sugars, and no hydrogenated oils. At first she cut out dairy but had to add it back in for calcium. Has anyone tried to control endo with diet? If so does it work and what type of diet is it?

I do not have endo problems but had major issues trying to get pregnant. The diet you are talking about is a type of 'detox' diet..where you try to rid your body of toxins and impurities. I did several of these diets (some more severe then others) to clean my body (when your body is clean, of course it runs better and MANY problems are alleviated). Not sure what worked for me - detox diets, acu....but my daughter is now almsot 14 months old.

Good luck!

I have stage 4 endo and have not done any type of 'detox' diet. I also have other health issues that kinda prevent me from doing that type of diet. I think it's just something that if you know you can stick with it then how can it hurt you? Unless you have other health issues. But us TTC'ers try so many things to get pregnant and in the end no one knows exactly what 'it' was that worked.

When in reality it was just their time to get pregnant. Just my personal opinion. Good luck.
