Hi kbear!

Come join us in the Jan/Feb Cycle buddies.

My ER is scheduled for 1/19 but could be sooner. You can find amazing support here. This is my first IVF and I got tons of great info and shared experiences, makes this journey a lot easier to have some many great girls to share questions with.

Good luck, keep us posted!

Don't worry about the ER

I had my ER on New Year's Day and it went smoothly. The procedure is really quick and since you're completely asleep you feel nothing. When I woke up I didn't have much pain...mild cramping. When I got home I was quite sore and sore the day after. But after that it wasn't so bad. I was nervous too but it happens so fast. Good luck!!

Good luck kbear
don't be nervous - you'll do great - just make sure you have a ride home from the ER and take it easy the rest of the day - that's what my doc says - I've not been through it yet, but I've had a lot of same-day surgery stuff, and if they put you under, unless you have difficulty with anesthesia(most are fine with it), it will be a piece of cake!

Kbear,
I slept like crazy the day after egg retrieval. My tummy was achy, and it hurt to use my core muscles to pull myself off the couch, so I just stayed there. I took two 3 hour naps, then went to bed for 9 hours overnight.

Good news is by the next day I was feeling much much better! Sleep works wonders, as does eating properly.

Hi Kbear,

Hope your ER went well in the last few days. This is my first time on this site and my ER is scheduled for tomorrow. I am very nervous about it especially as I have never been under anaesthetic before.
