hCG Levels.. maybe twins

Hello everyone,

My first beta level was 1143 14dpt5dt and then 2632 two days later. My RE made a comment (after my first test) that I may be carrying twins. What do you all think?

Can you post some beta levels that may help me

Hi, there. First of all, congrats on being pregnant!! To be honest, I think Beta levels are all over the place. I thought with my #'s that I could possibly be, but there is only one baby! Another girl on here MBG thought the same thing and her doc also suspected it, but she is carrying only one, too. She & I both thought for sure one of us had twins on the way with our high Betas. So, enjoy being pregnant and the rest will show itself soon! Good luck and congrats!!!! One or two would be wonderful!

Hi ivfhopeful! Congratulations on being pregnant!! Did you transfer 1 or 2 embryos? That could be an indication. As for beta levels, I drove myself crazy thinking it could be twins [even though we transferred one] as my levels were really high. It started out with 147 at 10dp3dt & that quadrupled within 2 days to 671 [even though it's supposed to only double].... you can see the rest of the levels in my signature below.
But it turned out to be only 1.... so try not to worry too much. Just relax & be happy

Hi I just wanted to post on your numbers while they are a lot higher than what mine were there was a woman on our board that posted with a 950 and ended with quads and another with 750 and it was twins also one that had only a 68 with twins Sooo it is just a question of looking at the sono. Congrats on being pregnant and best of luck during your pregnancy no matter what you are having.
