has anyone ever experienced then before going into labor? wHEN i stand from a sitting position, my pelvic bones rub toghether, very uncomfortably and when the baby moves sometimes, it feels like a streak of pain shooting up from my pelvis. Is the babe hitting a nerve?

What you are experiencing is completely normal. It is your pubic bone separating to make room for the baby to come out. It is terribly uncomfortable and at times painful. When it happened to me with my son (who is now 14) I would often feel a stabbing/shooting pain and a stitch and had to stop moving for a moment to let the worst of it pass. Unfortnately it is no indicator of when the baby will come. I had this ongoing for about 3 to 4 weeks. I remember week 37 through 40 being just awful with this...
If you can just keep up some exercise, clean the house, jog... anything to try to start labor - at 37w your baby is ripe and ready at any time now
Take care and let us know when the "big event" occurs!!!
