Good morning everyone-

I can't believe all the activity here...it's fantastic!

Kristen- Welcome! You and I sound much alike. This was my 1st ivf cycle, male factor, and I am 26. I did a cycle without lupron. I started stimming and then started an antagonist on about 6 days of stimming. I am now almost 8 weeks pregnant, so it definitely works!

Keisha- Good to have you back! You are right, there is an u/s coming up...it's mine and it's tomorrow! I can't wait, I am supposed to be able to see the heartbeat tomorrow, which doc said was a big hurdle...so hopefully it goes well. If I see a heartbeat tomorrow, I will have to go back to the clinic one more time in 2 weeks and then I will be released to obgyn.

Tammy s- Thanks for asking, I am feeling good, feeling lazy all the time, but good. No sickness really and bb's are not as sore as they were. I hope I continue not to be sick, my mom said she was a disaster with me, so I am hoping I do not go through the same

MLB- Good luck tomorrow! We are in the same noat...looking for heartbeats, so I know what your going through right now. I am sure it will be good news for both of us!

2ww ladies- Try to hang in there with the positive thoughts. I really can't preach about hpt's, because I became addicted. I think they made me crazy, but I think I might have been crazier without them, so do what you must, just remember, nothing is 100% until that beta....I got numerous negatives before my positives.

Stimming ladies- Kepp going, your almost there. Keep us updated on your progress....

Have a great day everyone!

Hi Ladies,

Dexter - You are such a sweetie for checking in on me. We are thankful and blessed! I wish I could post the u/s photos but the scanner is dead. But your right, to see that heartbeat is so mind blowing. How are you and the twins? Your MY inspiration :D ! All my other ladies, read up on Dexter, she has experienced an awesome journey and it led to two beautiful blessings.

MLB - Today is an exciting day. I knew we had some u/s coming up. Let is know how it goes.

PrincessB - I am still experiencing some AF like pains, and I saw baby's heartbeat Monday. So, ladies don't go by those pains or lack of booby pains and such. It seems we always torture ourselves at this time. My ovaries are still swollen on the left, can you believe it! But my RE said that is normal. Praying hard for your BFP on test day!!!

TammyS - I had early b/w and u/s. I was glad because I wanted to make sure there were no leading follies. And your right about the E2 levels, my RE said over 100 is where we should be at the start of all of this. It is way too early to stress about this, sweetie. I'm sure by Friday there will be big changes to those follies. That lupron, boy I remember a lot of headaches and night sweats. But it usually eased up by day 6, guess my body got used to it. I survived my 2WW and now I have baby on board. Stay encouraged!!

Sending out tons of baby dust and sticky vibes to everyone!!!

Michelle - Hey girl, guess we were posting at the same time. Yay, I know your u/s will go great. I'm a few days behind you. I'm sure you will be seeing the hearbeat. So, exciting!!! I felt so blessed to see it fluttering away. You know I jumped on the internet to check if 120 bpm was okay at this stage and it was. Don't know why I do that after RE said all okay but hey I'm addicted to google!!! I'm feeling very lazy these days too, even with the prenatal but I guess that is normal, right?

Let us know about the u/s ASAP!!

Washingtonda, Esperanza, PrincessB, Pricecake: Wishing all the best to you all in the 2WW! Cramping is completely normal. I had cramping through week 6 of my pregnancy with my daughter.

Kristen2008: Welcome to the group!

TammyS: I had an appt. 3 days after stimming as well. My Dr. told me that in the beginning the number of follicles is constantly changing. Your E2 level is great! I think we all worry knowing that something could go wrong at any step along this journey. Keep us up to date on your next E2 and u/s results.

I had my u/s and b/w this morning to determine if my cycle would be cancelled. They saw 3 follicles (18, 17, and 13mm) and after talking with the Dr. she said they were going to go for it. The original plan was to transfer one Day 5 embie. Now that we are keeping our fingers crossed that all of them fertilize and keep dividing they are going to put two embies back at Day 3. I was so excited when I got the news that I could continue the cycle this morning! I will be triggering tomorrow night and the ER will happen on Saturday. Esperanza, if you could update me on the list I would be so appreciative.

Now that I have made it through this gate I have something else to worry about  ....... Everyone that has gone through or is going through an IVF cycle right now, how many follicles did they retrieve and how many actually fertilized and kept dividing? I'm trying to be cautiously optimistic with only having 3 follicles to work with and then only a 30% chance of either of the two (if the embies make it that far) implanting.

andnichole, It only takes one. So if they are still going forward than you can get that bfp. I don`t think anyone can differ how many follies will be retrieved as well as quality, and then we hope they fertilze. One of them may just be the one.. :D I wish you all the best on Saturday. My ER is Saturday or Sunday as well.. I will know for sure in th a.m. I am hoping on Saturday more than Sunday. xxx

Colesmom: Thanks! You are definitely right it only takes one. I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed that the little follicles hang on, fertilize and keep growing. Are you doing a Day 3 or a Day 5 transfer?

andnichole, We will try to transfer 2 at 5 day. we will not know for sure untill we see how they grow and progress. I am so bloated at this point I am just waiting to get my ER. My biggest decision at this point is to freeze the extra embies or not. I just can`t make up my mind. Thats if they get to the freezing point as well. OH My what we have to worry about...

Hello Ladies!
Alright ladies, i got a darker line this morning on the hpt! I'm keeping the faith but still really scared. Now I'm scared to even move. I don't want to be a bad influence on my 2ww wait sisters so just ignore my weakness to do hpt's.

andnicole-YAY! So happy for you to be going for it. You only need one!

HelloKitty and CTMichelle-Thanks for the words of encouragement. You guys are helping me more than you will ever konw.

PrincessB -- You Go Girl!!! So when do you go for your actual blood test? Please keep us posted.

Also what type of HPT are you taking (just incase I get the urge early next week) Smile!!

I wouldn't test before the 21st. I had my HCG shot on 5 Jan so that should be out of my system. I did a 6 day Blast transfer on the 13th so the 21st would put me 8dp6dt. Shouldn't this be a good testing time for me to get some sort of results.

My actual beta is scheduled for the 24th.

IVF #1: POSITIVE - Michaela born 9/19/08
IVF #2: Consult on 10/13/09 - Start BCP Dec since clinic will be closed for the Holiday.
