Princess- Congrats on the hpt line getting darker...looks like another bfp for our thread! When is your beta? And don't worry about hpt weakness. I was addicted and even embarass to tell you all how many I went through...let's put it this way, the pharmacy closest to my house ran out and I needed to go someplace else....

Andnichole- I am glad they decided to continue your cycle, remember it does only take one as everyone else is saying. I know you asked for numbers, but keep in mind everyone is different. I had 11 follies, 9 of them had eggs, only 8 mature, 5 fertilized and then 4 were 8 celled on day 3 for transfer. Like I said, keep in mind everyone responds differently. I have read many stories on this board of only a few eggs being retrived and people still get the bfp they were hoping for, so keep up the pma! We will all be praying for you

Colesmom- the decision of whether or not to freeze the extras was by far the hardest part of this entire process for dh and I, due to financial constraints. We sat and discussed for almost an hour the morning of ET. It took so long they almost took the next ET appt, but we finally made up our minds. Just remember, no regrets either way.

I wouldn't test before the 21st. I had my HCG shot on 5 Jan so that should be out of my system. I did a 6 day Blast transfer on the 13th so the 21st would put me 8dp6dt. Shouldn't this be a good testing time for me to get some sort of results.

My actual beta is scheduled for the 24th.

I am gonna say yes. Since my doc schedules the beta for 2 weeks after ER. You would be fine to test then. But I still say "Dont Do IT!" LOL

Dear Girls,

Thank you for all your support.
My pink eye is going away. I got antibiotic drops and my eyes are almost perfect today.
But what is more important, I had my ER today, and as I stated earlier, I am a poor responder, but they got 19 eggs out of me!!! I am so excited!
I hope a lot will fertilize. My eggs are normally not good quality (2 out 9 fertilize for grade b-c embies), maybe this time will be better.
It is my third shot, and last one, so it better works!
I am waiting for that scary phone call tomorrow from my RE. I have been going to this clinic for 2.5 yrs and I can tell from the tone of the nurse's voice whether she has good or bad news. I am kind of hoping to hear the good ones.
I read amazing and inspiring stories on this forum and decided not to give up. That is why I even decided to go with the 3rd IVF and I have a really good feeling about this time.
Has anyone done HCG boosters? I didn't take them before, but the RE decided to go with them this time.
I wish you all a lot of big and good follies and then sticky embies. I never thought I could produce 19 eggs, but it seems like everything is possible.

1st IVF Feb 07- changed to IUI due to poor response
1st real IVF- April 07 BFN

As for me...I just got "the call"..I trigger tonight at 8:30!!!!

ER will be Saturday at 8:30! I am so excited. The RE sounds like everything looked really good. 16 follies, but only 14 that we think will have eggs. My right ovary only has 5...it was a little behind. But I am very excited. I have to go out a buy a pregancy test for tomorrow morning. I ama little nervous for R, but most of you have said tis not too bad. I have monday off, and we plan on transferring 2 embies at 5 day blasts if we can...so i have thursday and friday off as well! I'll be on later tonight

Esperanza- Thanks for the update again, very helpful to be able to look and see who is next on the list...and awesome pic! I love Conan, just wish he was on earlier, being a teacher and pregnant, I usually don't even make it to the 11 o'clock news.

I am very excited and anxious today ladies...I can not wait until the school day is over, so I can go to my u/s this afternoon. I really hope it goes well, which I think it will...I will hopefully be posting a good picture and have heartbeat info in just a little while...

Good luck to everyone with beta this week, be sure to keep us updated.

Neffi--I'm SO excited for you!!! yoohooo!!! congrats. Trigger shot will be a piece of cake. Just make sure you rest tons after ER. I felt as if I had just had surgery (which I guess in a way it is). One question, what's the pregnancy test for?

Unexplained--glad the pink eye is gone. We have to worry so much. Right now, I'm so protective of myself knowing that I have my little embie inside. Congrats on the ER...19 eggs! you are an over-achiever

There it is, my little bean! Still not much to see but definitely growing! And we saw the little flutter of a heartbeat today, 145bpm! It was very exciting, kinda made everything a lot more real in a sense. We will go back on tuesday for another u/s and then we will make an appt with obgyn.
