Jomae: I think it is soo cool that your docs give you all a brandy after ET. I could only wish for a nice glass of wine or something. Unfortunately the states look at any kind of alcohol during IVF as a cardinal sin. LOL It is strange how different docs and people think about everything.

Did your RE tell you what happens after the 2ww? How often do they test your blood ater the 2ww to see if it wasn't a chemical pregnancy? When do they do an ultra sound to see if the embryos implanted?

Why not make a seperate topic/post that we just bump back to the top now and then with the list of everyone and what step they are at and then you can edit it as needed....without having to repost it constantly. OMG! I am sooo frustrated!
So i go in for my ultrasound and bloodwork this morning and they tell me that my uterine lining is too thick and i need to wait until I get my period before i start my stim meds. I was really upset because if i don't get AF in the next few days, it's going to delay everything and they'll ned to figure out a way for me to get my AF so that ican start stimming.
...so later this afternoon, i get a call from another nurse and she says "your u/s and b/w are all normal. go ahead and start your stim meds as planned"......ummm...don't these ppl ever talk? One nurse tells me one thing, and another one tells me something different. she said she's going to check with the doctor and call me back, but of course she hasn't called me back yet and it's already 5pm here so she probably won't today at all. she said the doctor wrote "ok" on my chart, so that is why she called and said everything's fine. i feel like these people don't really care...and i thought the doctor reviews things behind the scenes since i never talk to him myself directly, but i guess he doesn't even do that much since he must not have reviewed the u/s results from today.

Anyway - thats my story for you guys. thanks for letting me vent.

i'm supposed to start stim meds on saturday, so i still have tomorrow to get it figured out. but i am soooo frustrated. i relaly feel like i get no personal interaction with these doctors or nurses. and whenever i ask questions and want details - specific #s, my hormone levels, etc, i always get very vague answers....like they don't know or something.
and this is supposed to be one of the best doctors in the US! Very disappointed!
I was thinking of talking to the head nurse about this to let her know abot my frustrations, but i don't want to piss anyone off...

I know what you mean. I am feeling a little like that at the new clinic I am at too. It can make you feel like you are just a number. My nurses were very vague with me too. I dont know that I would say anything either. I hope it gets better there for you.

Tammy good idea - I will work on it look for "Jan/FEb 08 LIST" we just need to make sure and bump it up, it is easy to copy my previous post and paste it on yours to keep it updated...

Any of you girls going to be on CLimara patch (estrogen) after ET? My RE has me on Climara (estrogen) progesterone oil 75mg and Crinone progesterone vaginl gel. oh and anitbiotics too (and Medrol) after ER.

Nope. It is tomorrow morning. I will have been stimming 6 days when I go tomorrow.....So hopefully I am getting close and I have lots of follies.

21bat: Sorry hun they are giving you the run around. that totally sucks!! Hopefully AF will start soon. My clinic made me wait for AF before I went in for the u/s. Let them know you are frustrated!

My interview went GREAT. I am pretty sure I go the job. I told them about the three days off and some late days and they said it wouldn't be a problem. I would have 3 AP and 2 regular 11th grade English classes! The students are very disciplined and underprepared. The last teacher has really done nothing with them. So they need someone who can jump in, take control and teach 'em how to write good! It will make the time go by faster. And if I don't have to deal with discipline problems I am in heaven!! Dh and I are going to go out and celebrate This will be nice extra cash for the baby!!! (Like my positive thinking girls??!!)
