Wow- I can't believe I missed so much!

Washingtonda- Congrats on the HPT results! Everything I have read says the trigger shot last 14 days max, so you are good. I went hpt crazy during my 2ww. I got a whole bunch of negatives before I got any positives, I think I implanted late. On some days I was taking hpt's in the morning and at night. A word of advice on the first morning pee- I kept testing that way because I had heard first morning pee had the most pregnancy hormone in it. Come to find out that it may actually be diluted, especially if you drink a lot before bed. The day I got my first positive on a hpt was 4 hours after I had gotten a negative from first morning pee.

MLB- Happy Birthday, and sorry about your experience. It is scary to see blood. I saw it after my first ultrasound and freaked out. They said it was normal because the cervix had been adjatated. They said I would probably bleed after we resumed intercourse too, but I am happy to say that did not happen.

Esperanza- Hang in there girl! I know exactly how you are feeling. I went crazy during 2ww even though I felt like I would be strong and it would not bother me. It completely drove me nuts.

As for me this morning, I took another HPT with 1st morning urine and got another positive and my line was even darker than the first.

I just called my clinic to tell them the news to see if they will let me test early but they haven't returned my call yet (had to leave a message for my nurse).

I'm happy and I don't plan to do another HPT until the morning of my Beta and thats because I have one left in my box.

As for me...I have off today Just hanging out, waiting for a call to hear how my embies are doing. I had a very relaxing weekend, after ER DH waited on me hand and foot.....I could get used to this!!! Back to work tomorrow, but only for two days then transfer on thursday. My test day should be feb 5.....my clinic does 17 days after ER.

Neffi- I do plan to find out the sex. I want to know for purchasing and decorating purposes. We still have not even bought one thing yet. I think we are still a little nervous being in first trimester. Both of my parents do not want to know. They say my generation can't wait for anything and wants everything yesterday! But she is right, I definitly can't wait, and it is still atleast 8 weeks away until I can find out.

Girls- I wanted to post about the new research they put out today. NO MORE CAFFEINE! Even though every book we read says ok in moderation, they are now saying that 200mg a day doubles your chance of miscarriage in first trimester. Now I am going to stay away from it best I can. I don't think I was having much anyway, but I defintely did not eliminate it until now.

Thanks for all the well wishes ladies. I took a HPT yesterday and it was BFN.. I wanted to be able to drink for the big patriots game **hee, hee**
I went in for my beta this morning for the official BFN which will be coming in a few hours. I am looking forward to taking a break from ivf. I'll still hang out here and look forward to lots of BFPs..

Hi Friends,

I'm with you Tali. I had an emotional meltdown yesterday. I cried so much, and today I did some this morning (although I'm feeling much better right now). All of the sudden I had the feeling that I was getting AF. Maybe TMI, but my whitish discharge is starting to become yellowish, and that lead me to think that it will soon become brown...and well, you know the rest.

When I read about WashingtonDA's BFP I convinced dh to take me get a hpt. Well, of course it came out negative. I was so sure it was all over. Even though I am feeling a bit more hopeful today, I'm still expecting the bfn on Friday. DH has been SO, SO, SO supportive...I love him! (heck! at least one of us is not a mess ). We decided that if, in fact, it is a bfn, we are going ahead with FET right away (we have 8 snow babies waiting for us). My nurse had told me to let her know so she can prepare everything for me before she goes on vacation (she's going on vacation right after my test). I called her this morning to tell her to start preparing all the paper work for me to do FET next month. I'm waiting for her to call me back.

Well, that's my story. Whatever the outcome is, I will still hang in here for anybody interested in continuing in this journey with me.

WashingtonDA--I'm so happy for you. Congrats my dear. See? you didn't need the frozen embies after all!

Esperanza - I am sorry, but wanted to say don't give up yet... My situation is very different. heck they don't even know if I ovulated during this cycle and with dh's low motility, I really did not have a good chance.

You may have tested too early or your test may not be as strong and if it is in fact a BFN you have 8 frosties waiting for you!! hang in there. you are in my thoughts.

Esperanza and Tali -- I am sorry to hear the news. Please don't give up because everybody is different so those BFNs may just fool ya. I will continue to pray for the both of you.

This whole process is a scary mess. You get through one thing and than there is something else. I just went to the bathroom and there is brown when I wipe. This didn't even look like blood maybe just brown urine when I wipe. Has anyone else had this? There is no thickness to it, it's just there. It was dark brown in color so I am hoping that it's just implantation something. I'm not gonna freak out about it as long as it is brown and very light. I will definately keep an eye out on it.

My clinic will not allow me to come in an test early. They said that 18 days is their rule because they want to make sure that all the HCG is out of your system and that they have a certain beta that they like to see at the 18 day mark so Thursday it is. I will not do anymore HPT until Thursday morning.

esparenza - Please don't give up hope yet. Tali is right, it could be many different things. We are all still rooting for you. I love the fact that you have a plan B. That is the only way to keep going in this thing. Prayer and planning.

As for me, the bladder infection symptoms almost gone. But hello morning sickness big time. Not complaining because it gives me some comfort that my little bean is still there but hey, can I keep down chicken noodle soup !

I got my fert. report today. WE have 17 great embies SoSo Happy! WE will be doing a 2 embie 6 day blast. SAturday is my ET...Plan on some froties DH and I are thrilled.

Esperanza- Don't lose hope yet. My hpt's were all bfn until the day before my beta test, and that was with early result which I know measures 25. I really began to think the worst, but you have to keep the faith. After 7 negative tests...finally a faint line. I have had some yellow discharge too, so I wouldn't worry, we are praying for you!
