Hey girls... Sorry I don't have time to do many personals, but quickly...

Jenn: congrats on the every week appt times. Not long now....

Mego: Wow. Sorry about dh. The whole drain thing sounds pretty serious. I hope that he is improving.

Vicky: So glad to see you back! I imagine at 5'10'' it will be a while until you really have a big baby bump.

Had a fabulous week of skiing in Telluride. Feet of dry powder and occasional sunshine mixed with softly falling snow. Best skiing ever. Started lupron and now stopped BCP so AF should be right around the corner. THE AF. Hopefully the last AF I will have for 9 months...

Will be back for more personals. Hope you are all well!

ski-ing sounds awesome Sassy - you sure sound fit and raring to go for your cycle.

I am raring to hear about the new cycles - Amy, Nickster - don't forget to join in too.

Being pregnant is boring - headaches, tired, hungry - blughhh, blughhh! - I had far more interesting and entertaining things to write when I was cycling so am looking forward to some sista crazy hormone fuelled musings - the angrier and crazier the better.

(hope I am not sounding ungrateful - I am just feeling progressively worse in the 2nd tri rather than better - that's not how it's supposed to be at all!)

Wow, it's slow going around here lately! Hope everyone is doing okay. I have a flippin' cold so I'm pretty miserable. Lucy had it too, which sucks. And my dh still can't pick her up so I'm doing all the work. I have a great appreaciation for single parents! All I want to do is sleep. Not going to happen!

What's new?

Hey girls!

Not much going on around here. I have an exam today so we'll see if I have progressed any more! We went to Baby Boot Camp this weekend and learned everything we need to know to take care of a newborn! My husband said he didn't learn anything earth shattering, but he just feels REALLY sorry for me now! They showed a birth so he now knows what it will look like. Maybe he feels sorry enough that I will get some jewelry out of this!

Sorry you are sick Meg! If I could come over there and help out I would! I had a cold a couple weeks ago and it sucked. My Dr. wouldn't really let me take any of the GOOD stuff!

Ok- I didn't clean this weekend like I should have so time to straighten up around here. I'll be back later!
Jenn

Hello ladies -

Long time no chat. I am sorry to be so Project Runway, one day you are in and the next day out, but just lots going on. Had my transfer on Thursday, the 17th. Feeling okay about it all. Had all my acupuncture and herbs as well as on the progesterone, lovenox shots and estrogen patches cocktail. Guess I have been scared of posting as I don't want to break the BFP stretch we have had. For whatever reason it puts stress on me that I won't get a positive and will put a dark cloud over our fertile posting grounds. No spotting yet so that is a good sign, but I don't test until Friday. I am thinking POAS Wednesday or Thursday.

Anywho, enough about me. I am sorry to hear about your husband meg. That sounds awful. I hope all is well and the bill won't be too horrendous.

Sassy - sounds like you living up your last few weeks of non pregnant times. Glad to see you had amazing snow. I also went last weekend to hopefully bid farewell to winter sports for a bit.

Angie - Glad to hear you are enjoying the beach and camping... sounds so much warmer than my weather here... although I know I should not complain as some of you live in the bitter cold areas. It is 47 here and I am dying. I have been cooking my chickens hot oatmeal every morning to warm them up.

Oh I will have to finish in a bit, DH is trying to clean... that should be helpful ;)

Amy-- congrats on the ET! How many did you transfer?

Meg: I'm sorry you and Lucy are hit with a cold just as dh is unable to give you a hand. btw... how is dh????

Angie: bummer that you are feeling worse instead of better. I thought you are to feel spry, sexy and all glowy the second tri

Jenn-- So first of all... hoping your appt was good today. Any progress? Is the little one coming soon???

All right. Now let's get down to business. I did some serious virtual shopping. Here goes.... (ummmm, I REALLY wish I know how to make these links active, but alas... I have no idea  )

Cashmere Baby Clothes and blanket
http://www.stellinababy.com/product_inf ... c849762540

Diaper Dude bag (so that dh can be really INVOLVED  )
http://diaperdude.com/product_info.php? ... ucts_id=37

Moses Basket
http://www.neimanmarcus.com/store/catal ... cat1680731

And last, but definitely not least.... a diamond pacifier
http://www.personalizedpacifiers.com/sowhgowi278d.html

Ok, as for me. I have been complaining (ummmm, bitching) lately that I have been working my ample a&& off and I have only lost one pound. So a few days ago, my personal trainer met me at the door with a tape measure b/c she said I need objective evidence that my body is changing. And so it has... In the last 8 weeks (I may add that was over the holidays...), I lost 3 inches in my waist, 1.5 inches in my hips and 7% body fat (which puts me in the "average" category). I apparently gained 9 lbs of muscle. Couldn't be prouder  But now that my cycle has started, I am backing off on the cardio...

Hey Sassy - good to hear from you. I transferred 2 5 day embryos. They said they were thawing nicely, so we will see. I have to ask, what does "pns" stand for?? Are your eggs fertilized yet or does Mr Sassy still have some work to do?? When are you scheduled to transfer?

Plus, nice work on the loss of inches. That is incredible. I would take 3 inches off my waist any day!

You are a dark horse Ms Amy - kept all quiet and still until just few days before test day. How did you contain yourself??? Sending you lots of luck from Down Under. PS your chickens are very lucky - wish someone would cook me hot cereal for brekkie :D Keep us posted.

Hi to everyone else - I have to research our organisation's maternity leave policy - I am worried - the new boss wants to grow and expand my area so me going on mat leave later in year is probably not what he wanted to hear. I want to be able to negotiate returning part-time but will have to show creative ideas as to how this will work - worry, worry it never ends.

Dear Sassy,

Thank you so much for the virtual baby gifts. I really love the Moses basket and the clothes- they were CUTE!! That diamond pacifier will go well with her diamond rattle and diamond studded baby bottle! We definately needed it to complete the set! The camo bag will be great for Dh to use...virtually speaking of course

Sincerely,
Jenn

Amy - congrats on the transfer! I know the wait game is tough, but know we are all rooting for you!!! Friday is right around the corner!! :D :D Sending you lots of positive vibes!!

Angie - I agree with you on the whole maternity leave deal - it is tough. I will be going out at one of the worst times of the year for the business I am in and I know as wonderful as my boss is that it is stressing him out. It is also unfortunately costing me some opportunities which is tough. I think there is a question in his mind too if I am coming back. Oh well, I am sure it will all work itself out! :)

Sassy - you go girl!! I can't believe you lost that many inches!!! Taht is so awesome! Oh - and I checked out the daddy diaper bag you posted and it is way cool! I might just have to get that for my husband! And I know every baby of a sista needs a diamond pacifier - and it is only $17,000 - what a DEAL! :D I must say that you have fabulous taste!

Jenn - Glad to hear baby boot camp went well! I think it is important to drop hints now for your husband regarding a gift for you after the baby arrives. Perhaps you can mention friends of yours that received the most amazing gifts from their husbands when they had their babies. The more they think some other man is showing them up, the better chance you have at raking in something good! :D

Meg - Hope you are feeling better. I have been sooo lucky not to get sick yet this winter. In fact, (knock on wood!), I have not been sick in quite a while. I sure hope I can get through the next couple of months without it. I know how hard it is, esp when you are caring for a baby. Bless your heart. How is your husband?

Hope everyone else is doing well. My 10 week (can you believe I am already at that point???) appt is in 2 days. I am excited...and nervous. But so far I have just continued to have such few issues....no bleeding, very little morning sickness, etc. I feel so completely blessed. I have 2 weeks left of these damn PIO shots and I am done as I will be 12 weeks. I am very happy about that. Oh - and I did the deed and rented one of those fetal doppler machines. It should be here any day now. I think it will help keep me sane...if that is possible. :) I will let you know how my appt goes on Wed.

Take care all of you!!

Ok now that my thank yous are out of the way--

Sassy- way to go on losing inches!! That must make you feel better!

Amy- glad you are back. Let us know how the POAS goes if you can. good luck!! It is rather chilly here too, but tomorrow is supposed to be 68, then back into the 40's and 50's. These temp. swings are killing me!!

Angie- good luck at work! glad to hear from you, it's been quiet around here lately.

Well today at the Dr. I had no change. Not even weight gain this week. I'm not complaining about that, but I was secretly hoping she would say you are dialated much more and could go any day now!! I am ready to meet this child and start the next phase of motherhood! Ah, well- 3 more weeks...
Jenn

AMy- Have you POAS yet? I am so anxious to get your results.

Ladies- I have been reading all your messages, just been so busy, and really haven't had anything to say. I do think of you guys often though.

Jen- I can't believe how close your time is coming. I know you will just really enjoy being a mommy. There is nothing more enjoyable in the whole world.

Meg- I am so jealous that Lucy is sleeping through the night. My dd, who is almost 3 (YIKES) is still not sleeping through the night. She gets up at least twice a night. What or what am I going to do? My SIL says one of her 7 year olds still wakes up every night. URG!!!

Sassy- Way to go. I am so impressed. When we first started working out on our eliptical I got so mad because I was putting on weight. Wish I would have thought to take measurements before I started. Needless to say I haven't done any working out for a few months now:(

Gotta run teach. I hope all are doing well.

Morning girls!

Robbo- good to hear from you. Hope you had good holidays and time off from teaching! Don't work too hard!

Tina- I dropped hints about gifts that other girls got and he would just laugh. Then I wised up and decided to just go to our jewelry store and update my wishlist. Then they send him a card in the mail telling him that I have picked out some more items for him to look at if he felt so inclined. That seems to work. We'll see! Good luck for your 10 week scan! You will see the little bean moving around in there. It actually looks human at that point. The best ultrasound pic. I have is at 11 weeks I think.

I had girls night last night and went out to dinner and to the movie to see 27 Dresses. It was soooo nice. The movie was great, you guys should go see it if you can!

Ok- I am really sore today. You would think I ran (ok fine walked!) several miles yesterday. I will be resting today!
Jenn

Amy--I've been thinking about you all week. Hope this is it!

Robbo--Don't be too jealous--Lucy only sleeps through the night about once or twice a week. And with her current cold, she's been getting up at least twice sometimes three times a night. So don't worry, I'm still sleep deprived! How's your school year going? More than half way done! It'll be summer before you know it!

Fee---How are you? How's Nogs? I need some stories! Is he smiling at you yet?

I'm still suffering from this blasted cold, but starting to feel better. It's freezing here which doesn't help things. Right now it's 15 degrees out, but I'm sure with wind chill it's much colder. Oh well. I just got back from Walmart. Good ol' Walmart. Well, best go.
