Thanks Rio for updating the list  I really don't know what I would do with out all ya'lls encouragement, knowledge, and experiences. Sad to think of doing this w/o ya'll!

I am at Starbucks, trying to get some work done, but as we all know it is sooo hard to focus during all this! I am having a nice cup of hot chocolate, my last one prob for awhile :0)

Ugh, someone is sitting behind me and I am getting paranoid they will find out I am a closet IFer, so I will have to go. :)

A little blue myself

Post by kbear4211 »

I wish good luck and STICKY BABY VIBES to all those going through ER and ET this weekend.

I am having a hard time today. Some days I am so upbeat and feeling so positive, and some days I just want to cry.

It is hard having symptoms that might be indicative of a BFP, but knowing that it could very be the medicines causing them. I am still somewhat nauseous in the mornings. I fluctuate from being nauseous to starving, it is wierd. I am very chest tender, but that was starting even before my ET. My RE says that some people feel pregnant, some don't.

I know I just have to wait until 02/04 and I will find out then.

Luckily, my DH keeps me very upbeat. We are going up to Atlantic City tomorrow to have a little fun.

I love having this forum for support and venting.

YOU ALL ARE GREAT!!!

Kbear: The most frustrating part of the 2ww are all those symptoms and wondering if it's the meds or a BFP! But you are doing the right thing by going out to Atlantic City and having fun!! Stay away from the alcohol :)

Mia - closet IVFer too funny ;) I do that at work too, keep the windows small so no one can see it!

I found a Preg test in my drawer today - oh so tempting to do it next week...

I have a question for all of you: I have heard that you can have cramping and spotting and still be pregnant. Have you heard of not having any spotting but still not having the embies stick? I am just curious.

Girls on 2WW - are you doing the progesterone gel? It drives me insane every time I feel a discharge (TMI  ) I have to run to the restroom to see if it is not blood

Hey Gals

Loopie : You would indeed take the "golden needle award"...good LOL Weezie. Is it 9pm tonight? The bar should have a good crowd LOL
The link was cute!

I had u/s & b/w today & just waiting for the call about triggering or not. One was 22, but 2 or 3 of the 11 were still around 13. I guess they go by the lead one & b/w so I'm thinking tonight...& pray those tiny ones GROW!

Guess what??? My cough is about 50% better after stopping the Menopur...I'm so relieved!!!.. I could even stand not triggering tonight... Weeell..lets not go that far :)

Tammy: I was thinking about you this morning..I hope they got lots & you're feeling ok.

Jomae : Like Mia says...take it easy today. It's still stressful, even if you're ok. I'm glad you're safe!

Kbear : I can't even imagine how I'm going to make it through the wait. Hang in & try to relax. My breasts are huge & sore now too, so that won't be a change. I read somewhere that nausea from pregnancy doesn't happen until at least 4 weeks so maybe it's the PIO.
Have a great time in Atlantic city...win some $$ & have fun!!!

Rio: thanks so much for the list!!! You are awesome!

Mia: Sounds like you're doing really well. We're just going on after the other here. So exciting wwo hooo

Good vibes to all

Rinnie: so triggering tonight, right? Remember no more bding after tonight!

Rio: I am soo paranoid at work someone will see me on this site  . And STAY AWAY FROM THE HPT!! Yeah right!! lol. I can't believe you haven't peed on it already!! Lots of ppl get og w/o spotting and cramping, so who knows! You just can't go by physical signs with IVF. And TMI does not exist on this thread - especially after your oOO confession   (that was you right??) Yeah when I did the suppos. there was lots of yucky discharge. Stop looking for blood. You can tell the difference. blood is warm and thinner!

Loopie: Woo hoo!! See my comment to Rinnie above...

I just scheduled a massage for an hour :D One hour for 39$$!! How great is that?? It is ok to get a massage right?? Have any of you heard anything against it??? Ok, My clinic has not emailed me yet my E2 levels, i will be a bit more patient.. and then call..

Ok, my clinic just emailed this is what I had today: Right:1 x 10, 2 x 13, 1 x 15 and 1 x 16. On the left you have 1 x 10, 3 x 13, and 3 x 15. Your estradiol is 575. Hmmm... I though the REs want the larges to be 18-20, right? I guess he is thinking it will get there by tomorrow!

Hey Girls,
I am triggering tonight too! I ended up with only 4 follies but they are large so I am praying that we get some nice eggs that fertilize! I have 2 at 17, 1 at 18 and one at 19.. We felt like we were on stims forever and now it is all happening so fast.. Best of luck to you.. I need a massage too! BABY DUST to you...

Hey closet IVFer.....yeah you...you know I'm talkin to you LOL
It's so hard not to tell people!
You look like they might push you a day...I was around there but then they kept me inching along because the E2 wasn't high enough yet. They're all a similar size though which is great. Maybe they'll enjoy the massage & grow huge!!

Still haven't heard about the trigger tonight...arggh!!!

Amy: That's great!! So you & Loopie for sure & I hope to jump in there too. I can't believe it's almost here.

Update

Post by Sage »

Hi Everyone,

Finally today I started to spot, so if all goes as normal I should get AF on Monday and finally be able to start stims!! I can't wait!

It is so crazy to me all of the varying protocols at each RE. It is a bit scary to think that maybe something would have worked before now if I had a different dr??? I guess I shouldn't even go there.

I am still on Lupron and have to write on my calendar which side to give my shot in so I can keep track:) After a while it is hard to remember. I always give the shots to myself in the stomach.

ICSI-That is regular protocol at my RE. We actually are eligible for a NYS grant to help reduce the costs of IVF, because it isn't covered by our insurance, and the ICSI is part of that. However, I think that if we were paying out of pocket, I would do it. Like someone else said, after doing all of the stims, I would be devastated not to make it to ET.

I hope everyone's ER's and ET's go well. I can't wait until all of the BFP's start rolling in :D

To all girls stimming and going to ER - My RE said that I could not use any perfume or cologne or anything with strong smells, sopa and deodorant was ok. He really said that they found that there is an issue with ER/ET when people wear strong smelling stuff. I just wanted to let you know in case your RE doens't say anything that it might be better not to wear anything that smells strong.

Amy27 - those are great sizes! Good luck and keep us posted! Remember it only takes one!

Mia - yes, I believe they want the leading ones to be over 18 mm, I had one at 20 mm but he still waited so that the others would catch up. Great follies - I am excited for you! And yes, I seem to have gotten all my confessions out in these posts   The massage should be wonderful, have them take it easy on your tummy though... if you are getting sensitive there.
Rin - grow follies! :) I am very excited for you, glad your cough is better!
