Hey gals
Just checkin in....I'm home in bed. They were able to get 6 mature eggs...I guess they look at them right away. They didn't tell me how many total, but I would think around 9 or 10 w/ the 10 folllies I had.
Not too bad on the cramping at all...I guess that may come later tonight. They put me totally under w/ light anesthesia...I think I was babbling about about the same thing I was talking about when I went under ( it's seems so fast ) I woke up & can't remember a thing of what I said...the nurses must just roll their eyes

The nurse told me to take a deep breath for the PIO & as I was breathing in she shot me. It seemed a lot easier, as I was concentrating on the breath not the shot. Have to see if it works with DH.

Loopie: Congrats on 16!!!...girl, you put me to shame Let us know how tonight goes.

Amy: How're you doing?

Katie: Glad you're back...72 hrs can only help..& you must be relaxed!

Weezie/Bat/Mia. woo hoo for tonight. It's just a bit more sore after the fact than a reg shot.

Jomae: I'm always shocked at how unaware/insensitive people are in this world. Oh well...rise above. Onward & upward!

Oh weezie - sorry you're having a tough day today. i didn't cry today, but i cried 3 times yesterday!!
is the moodiness supposed to go away now we're off the gonal-f?? i hope so!

AMY - i hope you feel better soon!! Get some rest and try not to think about this (i know it's hard!!)

are there any immediate side-effects to the trigger shot? i'm doing the shot at midnight and have work the next morning...did you guys feel sick at all?

Rinnie: Good job with 6! Glad there is no cramping. I dont remember cramping last time, so hopefully you won't get that. Is your doc planning on a day 3 transfer??

Weezie: Sorry u are feeling low, but don't worry about dh not being there. I though y'all decided he would stay if you are feeling bad! COme on girl you can do it. YOu rlil future embies need you to stay strong and positive!!

Amy: Hun I am so sorry you only got one egg. I am praying that one egg is the one you need. I know it is hard to stay positive, but your body needs you to. Don't discount that one egg yet girl!!

21bat: I know it is illegal to sell them, but ppl do! Or you could donate them, or save em just in case you want a sibling to go with your baby Yep, me you and weezie all tonight

Loopie: 16 _ WOW You go girl. Hoping they are all mature and healthy.

Rio: I think you should POAS the day before and that way you will be a bit prepared. Never worry about venting here - We are all with you!!

OK. So I go in today and RE is happy great lining, nice fat follies, so he says ER is on Tuesday trigger tonight at 12:30. I get home and THERE IS NO OVIDREL!! So I call my pharmacy and they said no the RE never ordered it. I call my RE and leave a msg, but I was freaked b/c I thought it is Sunday , and there was no number to call for emergencies! But my RE called me right back and he met me at the clinic and gave me the meds. But I mean if I would have waited until midnight to look for them

Ok SO question: Is tonight the last time dh and I can bd?? He is supposed to wait 36 hours right??? Also, someone wrote dh shouldn't have cologne, why?? I know I am not supposed ot wear any smelly stuff and no eating - anything else??? My Re didn't really fill me in!!

OK, enough for now... If I missed anyone I am sorry!!!

Oh mia!! good thing you looked for the meds early!!! I opened up all mine last night...i'm sucha control freak
I haven't ordered my PIO shots yet!! A little worried about the timing but i'm ordering them tomorrow, so that should be enough time, right?
Good luck with the shot tonight! We'll exchange stories tomorrow.

21bat: My pharmacy overnights stuff, so you should be good. I had my PIO before I even started my RE ordered everything (well all but the trigger!). When do those start?? After ET??

I think PIO starts 2 days after ER...i'm gonna double check though!
I didn't order my PIO b/c i was deciding between the shots and the suppositories.
I think 2 days after ER I am also taking baby asprin, Medrol, Tetrocycline, and the estrogen patches. you on the same protocol?

No patches or aspirin for me, unless they add that. I think I will start with the PIO and then go to suppos if it gets too bad.

Mia: Oh my goodness ...I wouldve freaked too! My docs said to have DH abstain 2-5 days. If it has been between those days ...dont do it...it is too close. If it has been more than those days. Do it. LOL

Amy: Keep the PMA going. You got 1...that is great!!! You only need 1!
Weezie is right we are all cheering you on. Get some rest. I hope you feel better real soon.

21Bat: No side effects ..except the possible rash/breakout I got. I dont know if it is related. You should be just fine at work. I would call too and get your numbers. Dont worry crying is normal right now.

Weezie: I wish DH could be with you more during this time...so we will just be here for you instead.

Loopie: Wow girl! That is awesome. I cant wait to hear the fertilization report.

Rinnie: WTG! 6 is great! Lucky you...no cramping. I have had cramping for 2 1/2 days now.

I have acupuncture tomorrow now at 10:45 am and then lunch and then off to get my embabies at 1:30!!! I am getting excited.

Mia- if I'm not good Tuesday after ER, DH will stay another day with me. I got a nice sheet of "trigger instructions". I don't know why we cannot wear perfume etc. but that is #1 on my sheet for the day of ER. And #4 for Trigger day (today) "sexual intercourse this evening if you have not been active within the last 3 days". wooohoo. Good thing I gave it up yesterday, because with the way I feel today, Dh better keep his hands (and everything) to himself. We want fresh swimmers! Good thing you looked inside your meds this afternoon. I checked all mine when the entire pharmacy was delivered. but today I actually opened the box of HCG. Glad the nurse is coming to do it. DH and I both are not in the mood to mix and measure. My list also says to bring socks because the procedure room is very cold. I know OR rooms are typically 60degrees to prevent bacteria from growing. So socks seems like a good idea to me. I may even go get some crazy ones at Target just for giggles.

Bat- I am on the same protocol. Execpt I dont start my patches until 9 days after ER.

21Bat: I start my patches 9 days after ER too. The whole perfume...cologne thing...(I think) is because it bothers peoples allergies. No one wants to have runny eyes when retrieving eggs. LOL
I can not wear it around certain members of my family either....they are just sooo allergic. It burns my nose and gives me a headache, too. Just a guess.

Weezie: Dont worry about your hubby not being there. Mine had to work the next day (early morning with UPS) and I had to get a friend to drive me to the hospital when I got sick...HOWEVER you will not get sick! Stay positive!! Esp since you are only doing 5000

Amy: One egg is all it takes right?!

Rio: I agree with Mia...POAS before the test. I am going to do that as well. But just remember that pee tests are not always right because they dont pick up really low levels.

I was told not to have sex 2-5 days before also...

Okay so today has been rough emotionally...don't know why. In a bad mood then a sad mood. PMS can we say? Plus I have these were stretchy feelings in my uterus and just cramps...kinda scares me. Also the cold is getting to me cause I can not take anything and just keep coughing up a storm. Ugh. I am also still really bloated and my lower stomach has never stuck out this much...and it is a little hard underneath but I think it is like that before a period too. So I am really trying not to get my hopes up but that is hard to do. I will take another test on Tues or Wed just to see if it got darker...Hopefully it does! Faint at this point is still good though too because the HCG should be gone by Wed or even Tues for sure.

Ok, I should go and read for class tomorrow....even though I am not in the mood to learn about phonics.
