Mia- yes, I know I probably won't last... I have a question, someone told me that HPT type tests also measure progesterone in your body so if you are taking the shots it would give you a BFP no matter what... have you heard of this? You can always have a tummy flu or belly ache  that's my excuse for everyone at work! Aren't we all giving Pamela Anderson a run for her money  and if you go out of town for your 2ww, you better find a computer or we will miss your posts too much! :)

Wow...so much going on. I knew this would be intense, but boy.....so many emotions.

I just got the call: 10 FOLLIES
7 MATURE EGGS ( they missed one yesterday)
6 FERTILIZED!!!!!!
I am so relieved at 42, that I have 6 embies. I have to go 5 days so I needed to start strong.
Last night I imagined them all in little dishes surrounded by a white light & thriving. I'm a big believer in energy/ love/ god being able to do miracles, so all of you stay positive no matter what. I know it's hard with all these emotions. Take some time every day to be still & picture your emby/ then child/ then life with a child. Always surrounded with love.

Tammy: I'm thinking about you...how did it go...stick stick :)

Loopie: I feel pretty good today too. I was pretty crampy last night, but no nausea thank goodness. The best part is I feel less bloaty ...shortlived I'm sure but I felt so huge yesterday morning, anything is a relief!!

I'm doing PIO in the morning because they say it's good to do the heat pad 10-15 mins several times a day. They started me off slow....tomorow the dose triples to 1.5cc
I think just so long as you do it within an hour of the same time you're ok.

Amy: Keep visualizing a great strong embie! Let us know & stay strong.

Mia : I'm glad the tigger was ok..it'll go great tomorrow! Wow that was a close call with the trigger. They scared me so much with saying the drugs took time to get, I must have checked 10 times !

Weezie: wooo hoooo...getting close...good vibes! I felt so huge & bloated.

Marin : I was on 11 days, but then they had to push a couple of days because they lowered my meds. So it ended up being 13 days.

cincinnatidreams : welcome!! I'm glad you felt comfortable sharing with us. Sounds like everything went well & you must be going crazy like everybody else on 2WW :) Just keep thinking positive thoughts..we're all here for you!

Thought I would share this with my tempted to POAS crowd!
 The earliest you can get a positive result on the most sensitive pregnancy tests is seven days after ovulation. Implantation needs to occur before hCG is produced, and that generally happens between 6-12 days post ovulation, usually by 10 days after. For this reason, it makes economical sense to wait until 10-12 days after ovulation, but even then a significant percentage of women who are indeed pregnant will still show a negative result. If you have not had an hCG injection (common in fertility treatment, brands include Profasi, Pregnyl and Novarel), you can believe the positive, but you might get a false negative. If your period is late, test again. Your hCG levels should double every 2-3 days and many people won't have a positive HPT until the first day of a missed period or even a few days later.
This site also has the sensitivity of all the HPTs:

Rin- what a great number!

Kbear- glad to hear the trip was relaxing and fun!

Mia- I'm right there with you. My boobs are killing me. And DH and I both swear they grew over night since the trigger. But hurt like hell!

My nurse just called to tell me my E2 is now 4847  My progestrone is now a 4 and the trigger has already pushed my body to 95% ready. She told me to rest up today, just be there with my DH and his swimmers tomorrow morning, and leave the rest to her and the docs.

Bat/Mia- good luck tomorrow. :D

I'm going back to bed. It's the only way I can keep from killing DH. His breathing is even working my very last nerve!
Baby dust to all!

cincinnatidreams welcome!

As for me...the cold is still bad. I was going to go to the doc today but it was a 2 hour wait then 1 hour for doc to come in the room I am sure. ugh so I am just going to stick it out the best I can for awhile. Hopefully it starts to get better. I am bad...I went and bought another stick...I am taking it in the morn though to see if anything is there cause I am thinking the other one I took was just the HCg to be all honest (one can hope it was real though right!?)

Still bloated as all get out. I can not even suck in my stomach anymore. I agree, it looks like I am 6 mo pregnant lol. The uterus is harder at night and today started to feel like I was getting my period full force. I went to the bathroom every time tho and just cervical mucus ( I know, TMI) So hopefully no flow for me!!

Best wishes all! I am off to class for the evening

loopie - woo hoo! Congratulations, those are great numbers. 3 day transfer? Grow embies!!!!!
suga- I hope you can get over your cold soon! I am so sorry. I am glad to see that we have the same symptoms, hopefully BFP symptoms, my tummy is so big and hard to the touch, not soft like when you are normally bloated. I had cramps today too, low cramps, no spotting or any blood, just the progesterone gel. My breasts aren't sore but my nipples are.
2WW girls - how are your symptoms?
Hopin - haven't seen you around!

lost my embryo

Post by amy27 »

Hi Girls, Sad day today.. My little egg did not fertilize. I am grieving but am praying for the rest of you. It was our first time and I realize that we may need to use donor eggs to get a positive result. Not sure if anyone has gone that route.. the chemo I had to go through to live has now killed my ovaries.. My doctor said my ovaries are like 10 years older than me (37).
I feel like I dissapointed my DH because he wants to be a dad so badly and that is what hurts most. I will survive. I love all of you for sharing your good days and bad and am sending you all a huge hug and tons of baby dust..
Best of luck.. will hopefully try again with donor in a few months..

Amy: I am so sorry hun. But I bet dh is happier to have you arond than your eggs! MAke sure you talk to your dh about you feeling like you disappointed him. I kept that bottled up for a while, and then when I shared it with dh he was a ble to really comfort me. I bet if you ask any of the girls on this thread who have Male factor issues, none of them blame their spouses, right girls??

I know you are really diappointed and i am really sorry you have had to go through so much. SOme girls on here have used donor eggs, so hopefully someone can shine some light on that for you. I am thinking about you and will pray for you as you decide what your next step will be. Please stay around and keep us posted!

Amy- I'm very sorry to read about your egg. But I couldn't agree with Mia more. I know your DH is happy that the two of you still have each other. I'm a firm believer in finding the silver lining in every situation and I really believe that what you and Dh are going through will certainly make your marriage stronger than ever before. Grieve with him. And most importantly share your feelings with him. I will keep you both in my prayers. {{{{hugs}}}}

Mia- hey ya big dork! I love the Valentine sock thing.

Suga- pleeeeease take care of yourself. Don't let the cold get too bad. If your not better by tomorrow, please go to the doctors.

Question: :?: Does feeling like the "goodyear blimp" go away after ER?
