2nd HCG Blood Test Results-Good News!

Well I had my 2nd blood test and my HCG has jumped from 75(last Thursday) to.....482!! The clinic were really pleased and they told me that "billy blob" (that's what we've named it so far) will be five weeks on Crimbo Day!! With a due date of September 7th - SCARY, it is finally starting to sink in that I am pregnant!! No symptoms as yet, apart from not much appetite (but I think that's nerves)!! Thanks for your good wishes - my first scan in Friday 9th January. My GP has signed me off work, so I do not return to work until Monday 12th - YIIPPEE!!

Hi Sammie, Just wanted to say congratulations on your great news. I have my first scan on 2nd Jan when I think i will be 7wks and 1 day. My clinic don't do blood testa so I am having an agonising wait since I tested on 7 Dec to see if everything is OK. was this your first cycle? Lots of love and best wishes Julie xx

Hi Sammie, What great news re your blood result - you must be so relieved. WQhat a Xmas present eh? Try to enjoy the Christmas and New Year period - at least there's plenty of distractions this time of year to help the time pass til your scan on 9th! Julie - good luck with your 1st scan on 2nd! My clinic didn't do blood tests, just urine tests so it was a bit of an agonising wait for the first scan! Take care, Di
