Weezie--the blimp got worse form me after ER--It was terrible from trigger 1/17 through 1/24. But its like I woke up sunday and its almost right. Now I feel like "nomal bloating" rather then stomach hard as a rock and huge and cant breathe right.

I feel so out of the loop with everyone. I wish eveyone the best. Rio hand in there with POAS. I'm not tempted yet but give me 10-12dpt and ill be tempted. I told DH NOT to let me no matter how much I get mad at him.

So 2WW girls and symoptoms. Im bloated and its low bloated (rather then high) cramps sorta. More like pains down there really low every now and then. Boobs tendor and full but always like that the week before AF. Im sorta indifferent right now (not sure if this is the right word). Dont know how to take things. I dont want to be to worried but dont want to be super stoked. I dont know....

So got a ? Anyone having sex dreams? Past 3 nights ive had some dreams abouts sex or making out. I'm not sure if its to much tv on 72 hr bed rest or what. Yes its been a while but im mean crazy dreams
So much that I wake up and im sleeping on my back and my knees bent. Sorry if its TMI----just really weird

Amy - I am so so very sorry! My heart aches for you. Please try and look on the positive side, you are here with us in this crazy journey because of the chemo, it saved your life. As I mentioned before, the reason we are going through IVF is because my husband had chemo a few years ago and that lowered his sperm count and motility. Not for one second have I been disappointed or blamed him for anything. I love him andh e is the best thing that has ever happened to me, if IVF is the price I have to pay for having him alive - so be it! I am sure your husband is not disappointed, talk to him and be open about how you feel. I know my husband feels guilty sometimes, especially when he comes at me with the big PIO needles! But I always reassure him. The chemo tends to affect fast growing cells (sperm and eggs). I wish all the best and I hope you get your miracle!

Mia- somehow DH thinks he can get reception playing with them ;) hihihi YES! you are right, I would probably POAS and then second guess whatever result and get nowhere, believe we will be having the same talk but reversed next week!!! I am just really nervous and antsy with all these crazy feelings and symptoms. I found out that if I do my b/w early on Sat my results will be given to me between 2 and 3 pm so I need to find a way to get a playdate for my stepdaughter so we can be alone.

weezie get some rest blimpie  sorry to say, my blimpiness got worse after ER  get lots of rest!

KatieG - I have decoded your message!!! sex dreams! Well I have had a couple of those too. Maybe its the hormones or the fact that it is "forbidden" right now  although I am so blimpy I don't think I could! I don't think there is TMI here! I don't know what to think either one minute I am hopeful the other doubtful, it is part of the IVF torture I guess!

hi everyone! i am flat on my back and typing with one hand and finger. lol i have my laptop on my tv tray/puter stand. everthing went great. all 8 are still viable and we transferred the 3 best ones. i even got pics of them. 2 of them were 8 cell grade 2 and the third is a 6 cell grade 1. hopefully the remaining 5 will be frozen at the blast stage on day 5. they will let us know. dh and i were even able to see them zoomed in on the screen and then we even saw when he put them in, too. sooo cool. they gave us their petrie dish too. the doc and dh and i decided on 3 cause this is what he said for 39 yr olds: out of 100 women 40 will get pregnant...28 will be singletons...10 will be twins....2 will be triplets when tranferring 3 embryos. we are hoping 1 or 2 takes by upping our chances with 3...and would be totally shocked if 3 took. just not likely. acupuncture went well too...i definetly feel more relaxed. i am on bedrest till wed-thurs and then going back to acupuncture on thurs afternoon. it is hard to type like this...so i will be reading alot but not responding much. :?

amy.......i am so sorry. :(

good luck tomorrow girlies...i will be watching for your updates. :D

Amy- I am so sad for you. I know how much you've gone through to get here the past few weeks, but to have survived cancer is beating the odds, and I know you can beat the odds again. the mere fact that you are already considering your options tells me that you are strong and dedicated and will make an amazing mom. DH is there for you - don't forget to let him in and tell him how you're feeling. I know this will happen for you.

I am going to be a 3dt - still don't know how they're doing, so I'm not sure about whether we'll do 2 or 3, but I'm not going to stress about it. DH and I did our part, now we wait for the lab to do their's.

good luck tomorrow ladies- I'll be prayin for some big eggies

take care -sorry for the puffy gals, and so happy for the ones having sex dreams- nice....
tammy- take it easy -naps and pineapple - 3 is a magic number ( deep down that's what I'm thinking, but Dh says 2- I'm kinda like- well we've gone through all of this - what the heck) but we'll see when they tell us what we've really got

lots of baby vibes coming atcha!

So just when I thought i had nothing to worry about - here's a question:
They told us last Thurs that we will need to do ICSI, so my husband went in today for the "deposit". he's also giving another one tomorrow during my ER...they say to obstain 2-5 days, but this is 2 days in a row. they screwed it up because they didn't tell us early enough so that we'd have enough time....
now what???how do you girls think it'll effect things tomorrow???

Mia - trying to find coverage for that time, hopefully it will be a BFP :D that day and I am stressing over nothing! I felt my ovaries and bloatiness so I think it is normal. And of course, you have to shave yor legs ;)
21 bat - your DH has normal count right? I think it should be fine! those little guys are made fast! Especialy if you are doing ICSI then you don't need a high number of good swimmers. Don't worry!

Rio - to update the calendar: my e/t will hopefully be 2/3 if it's a day5 transfer. 2ww test is 2/12 for me :)

My trigger shot went great last night! didn't hurt at all - DH did a great job!!! I was so relieved. It didn't hurt all day but now that i'm sitting on the couch, it's starting to hurt. i'm not bloated or feeling anything out of the ordinary. is that weird?? someone earlier today posted that they were feeling big and bloated?? i'm not :(
I went in today for a blood test after the trigger shot. are they supposed to call you with some kind of results?? no one called yet.

so dh is going back to work as soon as he drives me home from ER tomorrow...do you think i'll be ok by myself? should i call my mom and have her come over?i haven't told her about what's happening tomorrow, but maybe i will if i need help.

What's the progesterone gel you girls are talking about???

21bat- after ET they have you do a progeterone gel (vaginally) and wear estrogen patches, if they haven't ordered that for you ask them what their protocol is. You should be ok alone after ER, get lots of rest, have someone on standby in case you don't feel well. I just wanted to sleep and take pain pills. Be glad you are not bloated! I didn't have a blood test after trigger so I am not sure. Good luck tomorrow!

Amy: I completely agree with everyone else & really feel you are blessed to be cancer free. I'm sure dh would agree. I have a friend who used donor eggs & couldn't be happier. You will see dh in your child & it's a wonderful thing. Keep visiting us & best of luck.

Weezie : I was less bloated today after ER....really enjoying it :) Good luck tomorrow...you'll do great!

Bat: They just want to make sure the HCG is working in your system. The hormone the body uses is luteinizing hormone, but they use HCG because it's a similar makeup. So a lot of clinics want to check to make sure it's in there.
If they don't call, probably means it's fine.
Also, ICSI will help them if there's a low volume or something, so don't worry about it.

Mia: My dh got given these funny socks from a Japanese client...I guess they're the rage over there. They have little toes like a glove. I should have worn them  Maybe for ET. Godd luck tomorrow!!! Go shave :)

Tammy: Hey girl...you're a good 1 fingered typer! 3's a good number at 39...stick !!

Katie: yes, I'm going a little crazy....the dreams will be next :) Doesn't help w/ dh lovin the Pam Anderson look !

Loopie:
I can't believe you're almost ready for ET. I don't know how many to put in...maybe 2 if they last to 5 days & are healthy. Are you going to decide Wed?

Baby dust to everybody!!

Amy: So sorry hun! But I agree, it is better to have you around! Take care of yourself and make sure you share your feelings with close friends and family.

Weezie: Bloating does not get better! I think it gets worse!

Katie: haha I thought I was the only one and did not want to say anything! I think it is because we can not have it. I think I am a little more abnormal to the fact that I will orgasm in my dreams when the dr. said that is what they do not want...nothing I can help though!! Also, it is all nipples with me also. Maybe the progesterone? I feel ya on the symptoms and not getting hopes up...so many negatives in the past it is hard to believe that there may be a positive for me on Thursday and I am trying to stay optamistic but it is really hard!

I went to the dr. today and it was a 2 hour wait!! No way was I waiting that long. SO if it is not gone by Friday I will go in because I can not stand the coughing! ugh.

Okay, homework time for me!

Mia- I don't have any pain. Just that damn bloated feeling. You had me laughing about shaving. DH reminded me to shave and gave me his razor (with new a new blade) to use. He has no clue what I'm going through and his little gestures of kindness make me laugh

Bat- Glad the trigger was easy. Be glad your not bloated. I think I'm bloated enough for the both of us. Hell, who am I kidding...I'm bloated enough for the entire crowd. I wouldn't be too concerned if they didn't call you back with today's lab results. It probably just means everything is good to go. Based on previous posts, unless you specifically ask, your nurse seems to assume you know what's what. I am sure if something was wrong she would have called. Hell, you'll be fine.

Mia/Bat- good luck tomorrow. I will keep you in my prayers before I go into ER tomorrow.

Thanks to everyone who responded to my question about feeling like a blimp after ER.

WOW. It's amazing how many of you have already done ET and how many will have it behind us by the end of this week. This time has really gone by fast.

Okay, I have to go to bed. I need my rest and with all this sex talk going around I'm frightened I might say something to embarrass myself in recovery tomorrow. I have a tendency to babble about the most embarrassing things or things that make no sense when in recovery.

Good night. and Sticky, baby dust to all! :D
