Hey everyone-

Glad to see everyone is moving along so well. Sorry I haven't posted lately, it has been crazy. Semester starts today for me and between work and homework, I am spent.

Someone was asking before about suppositories. I thought I was using suppositories, but after reading everyone's posts, I think I am using the wrong word. I am using crinone gel which comes in a vaginal applicator. I only have to do it once a day and they did not tell me it had to be the same time everyday. I take it right before bed, because they did tell me to ay down afterwards. Is anyone else using this method for progesterone? It defintely sounds the easiest compared to what others have said.

Washingtonda- congrats on your second beta! Those are great numbers. I am going to my obgyn tomorrow morning for my first official appt with them. They are not new, it is my regular obgyn which I am glad about. Since she referred me to the clinic, I figured she would take me back no problem afterwards. Even though I am now with the ob, I am not yet released from the clinic. They still like to see their patients at 10 and 12 weeks too, then I will be released from them, so one more appt with them next week and then in 2 more weeks.

Everyone testing soon- sticky vibes to you!

Stimming ladies, hang in there, your almost there!

Washingtonda,

I did have my ultrasound today, and it went well. We saw a heartbeat, one single lovely heartbeat. They didn't say how many beats per minute there were though. Today I am six weeks 3 days and the embryo was 6 weeks and 1 day. The doc also saw a yolk sac and said that everything looks good. So second u/s is in two weeks, Feb 11.

Thanks for asking!! Your second beta was awesome!!!

Esperanza, I am still thinking of you every day. Seriously I am sending you really good vibes.

Best,
Lostgirl

Hey Girls--

TammyS-- Cant wait to hear from you today!!!! Hope the ET went well

Colesmom-- We test on the SAME DAY! I am going at 8am Feb. 4.....hopefully it wont take them too long to call me since I'm going early.

Unexplained-- Like I said my Test day is the 4th...I am doing okay, I haven't taken a hpt, the trigger shot is probably still in my system. I'll probably wait til the weekend....I need to work this week, so any bad news wouldnt be good.

The 2WW is going okay for me....I only have one week left, and I probably cheat this weekend w/ a hpt. I am feeling good about everything. I am having some cramping, but no symptoms...Im not really looking for symptoms cause its soooo early, and I'd drive myself crazy. I went today for bw and to check my ovaries. They are still a little enlarges, but the CNPR siad they are okay, I also found out that the two other embies we were waiting on to see if they made it to day 6 blasts DID...so we have 2 frosties! That was very exciting news! I know this week is going to drag! And on top of it all, I am getting sick, my throat is killing me tonight! And I cant take any meds! Is there any meds that are okay during pregnancy??? Cold meds??

hi everyone! i am flat on my back and typing with one hand and finger. lol i have my laptop on my tv tray/puter stand. everthing went great. all 8 are still viable and we transferred the 3 best ones. i even got pics of them. 2 of them were 8 cell grade 2 and the third is a 6 cell grade 1. hopefully the remaining 5 will be frozen at the blast stage on day 5. they will let us know. dh and i were even able to see them zoomed in on the screen and then we even saw when he put them in, too. sooo cool. they gave us their petrie dish too. the doc and dh and i decided on 3 cause this is what he said for 39 yr olds: out of 100 women 40 will get pregnant...28 will be singletons...10 will be twins....2 will be triplets when tranferring 3 embryos. we are hoping 1 or 2 takes by upping our chances with 3...and would be totally shocked if 3 took. just not likely. acupuncture went well too...i definetly feel more relaxed. i am on bedrest till wed-thurs and then going back to acupuncture on thurs afternoon. it is hard to type like this...so i will be reading alot but not responding much. :D

baby dust to all! i am thinking about you all.

Neffi- I am so anxious and so distracted that I totally mixed up your PT day, I am sorry. I looked at your ET and took it as PT, it was on 1/23/08, which I took as 1/28/08, and in addition, I thought today is the 26th, so 28th falls on Wed, when I thought you are testing. That is how distracted I am! I can hardly concentrate on anything. I feel like trying hpt tomorrow, but since I took hcg booster on sat the test might come out positive with no pregancy, so I should probably wait.
4 more sleeps...

Blondzella - good luck with your test on Wed! how are you feeling?
Unexplained Infertility, Neffi211, kbear4211, colesmom - you are at the end of your 2ww - hope to read about lots of bfp's on Monday!
andnichole, TammyS - hang in there girls on your 2ww! keep talking to your little embies, relax and let DH help you out as much as possible.
esperanza - can't be an easy situation to answer those questions about how you spent your winter break, because of course you would rather be able to go back with a real smile on your face instead of the pain you are feeling inside. It's hard, I know. It probably isn't a bad thing that you must now immerse yourself in your studies -- although probably hard to concentrate, it will help you re-focus. Will you have a follow-up appt with your RE? I would recommend it to give you a clean slate before beginning your FET. good luck and have a great week!
to all the soon to be moms -- keep posting - your experiences are exciting and inspiring to read about! congratulations again for getting this far!

TammyS - Yay, glad that your transfer went so well and that you have 2 frozen embie babies waiting. I was aggressive too and put back 3 embies. I'm glad I did because I will never know if I my little fighter was #3. I was given similiar stats that you have. Rest up and hopefully time will fly by

Good Morning Ladies-

Sorry before about the triple post, that has never happened to me before. My computer was acting buggy.

Well, I am off to see my obgyn for the first time. Yesterday was miserable for me, the worst I have felt in this whole process. I worked and then went to my 2 night classes. I have been fighting a cold, but when I got home to sleep last night, I realized it was more than a cold. I took my temp. and it was over 100. I freaked out all night and kept taking tylenol. The temperature didn't drop until about 5 this morning. Even though I still feel crappy, I am looking forward to advice from the ob. I know fever can be dangerous.

By the way, for whoever asked, about the only things you can take during pregnancy are regular tylenol (acetametapine) and regular sudafed for any congestion.

Hopefully I can post my u/s and ob news for you guys a little later, I don't know yet if I am going to work after my appt. Have a good day everyone.
