We have four children and also have had 3 eptopics and 2 miscarriages along our journey to four beautiful kiddos. After four years, I have decided I want more babies, so IVF is our only option since my tubes are no longer repairable. We are starting this month with shots and should be implanting embryos next month. Can't wait. Although, I am nervous it will not take the first time and also am concerned as most with the cost adding up over time.
Is there anyone out there that has had first time success with IVF after tubes tied? I am 33 and hubby is 39 and we are both in great shape and everything fortunately looks great, just need to bypass those darn tubes. What are the chances of success the first time round. Or does it not matter that we are both healthy fertility ways? I am curious, excited, but a bit nervous it won't work out.
Looking to connect to others that are maybe in my situation now or have had past experience with same situation. Would love to hear stories of ones that did and didn't work out. This is so new to me, I don't even know what to expect. Well, I do, but don't.
Thanks so much!

I don't have any kids, but I don't have any tubes either. my last ectopic was dec 2007 and now IVF is my only option. from what i've read and heard that IVf is for people like US. mainly for folks w/ tube problems, but thankfully it is for others that don;'t just have tubular problems. good luck
Thanks so much!
